• Insurance Programme Management: Partner with business teams to identify insurable risks and ensure appropriate insurance coverage is maintained. Review policies regularly to ensure they remain aligned with operational requirements across key business lines including Marine/Cargo, Logistics Liability, Property, Cyber, and Corporate Liability policies.
• Policy Administration & Renewals: Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, declarations, and coverage updates. Lead commercial and technical negotiations alongside brokers during annual renewals to optimise premiums and coverage terms.

• Claims & Policy Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims processes, and stakeholder management across insurers, brokers, and internal teams.

Senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end product governance, regulatory oversight, portfolio management, and frontline enablement for Insurance Premium Financing (IPF) across Asia. Work you’ll do

GL Operations/Management/Statutory Reporting

• Oversee financial accounting, reporting, general ledger, fixed assets, audit, and tax to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain the general ledger, manage fixed assets and leases, coordinate month-end closing activities, liaise with the shared service team, and ensure timely submission of management reports in compliance with Southeast Asia Finance (“SEA Finance”) submission timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1)       Financial Close

He/She is responsible for the financial close of all Investment-Linked Policy (ILP) funds. This includes the preparation of revaluation entries, trailer commission and management rebate accruals, audit fee accruals, and expense provisions from various sources.

He/She reconciles ILP assets and policy liabilities, investigates discrepancies, and resolves issues within the assigned timelines.

He/She issues trailer commission billings and management rebate invoices, and prepares accounts receivable schedules.

2)       Investment reporting

He/She is responsible for adhoc, monthly, quarterly and annual investment reporting to internal stakeholders, MAS and other regulators. Investment reports include but not limited to MAS Notice 122, MAS Notice 129, MAS Notice 133, statistics, dashboards, ESG disclosure, credit rating disclosure and investment commentaries.  

3)     Documentation of key process and controls

He/She will update key processes and controls on a quarterly basis by proactively identifying workflow improvements to minimise control weaknesses, enhance efficiency, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of fund accounting.

During inspections or reviews, he/she will act as a key support member for ILP matters, assisting internal auditors and/or the second line of defence.

4)     Audit

He/She will assist his/her reporting line for external and internal audit in relation to ILP.

5)     Adhoc tasks

To participate in ad-hoc assignments or role rotation within Investment Accounting, Fund Operations and Cash Management team.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Finance Executive to oversee the company’s financial operations and support sound business decision-making. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the timely preparation of management and statutory reports.

In addition, this role requires direct client interaction, including supporting financial discussions, preparing budgets and proposals, and delivering clear and insightful financial reporting to clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams in Singapore and with the offsite team in Jakarta, providing financial expertise, analytical support, and operational insight to help drive the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize monthly and annual financial statements
• Manage financial reporting processes and ensure timely submission of statutory reports
• Monitor compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support management decision-making
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Support the preparation of client proposals, cost structures, and pricing models
• Deliver client-facing financial reports and presentations, ensuring clarity and transparency
• Participate in client meetings and discussions on financial matters, including cost planning and performance updates
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and other external stakeholders
• Support process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and financial accuracy
• Collaborate with internal teams across Singapore and Jakarta on finance-related matters

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports
• Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and reporting standards
• Experience in financial reporting, compliance, and statutory matters
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders and clients
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in relevant financial software and Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar finance role
• Experience in a client-facing finance or commercial role
• Experience working in a fast-paced or growing business environment
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with regional teams

• Create the project definition and maintain the work breakdown structure in SAP.
• Assign and maintain the project work breakdown structure for cost monitoring.
• Set the project budgeted manhours.
• Report on weekly basis manpower consumption and raise to the Project Management's attention any abnormality.
• Monitor the actual manhours against the budgeted manhours. Compare the consumed manhours against the progress.
• Review the prime cost and develop the project assigned budget.
• Report on weekly basis the cost incurred and raised to the Project Management's attention any abnormality.
• Monitor the actual and committed cost against the assigned budget. Compare the incurred cost against the progress.
• Update overall project costing projection.
• Review and assess vendor, supplier and/or subcontractor variation order requests.
• Review and verify the vendor, supplier and/or subcontractor invoices.
• Prepare and submit monthly project report summary
• Update the cost and cashflow risk for monthly risk summary report.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Naval Architecture/ Marine and Offshore / Electrical Engineering, Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motorship), or its equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
