Manage Failure Analysis (FA) Information

• Create and maintain specific FA database

• Perform review on Design/Marketing datasheet requests

• Perform review on Modify Qual requests

• Perform review on Material Review Board (MRB)

• Perform review on Process of Record Review Board (PORRB)

• Perform review on customer reports/data

Education:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Computer Engineering

• Desired: Master’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Computer Engineering

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor field

• Knowledge of DRAM operation, fabrication process and semiconductor device physics

• Familiarity with failure analysis, troubleshooting/debugging, advanced packaging, wafer testing, component testing and module testing concept and flow.

• Strong troubleshooting skill

• Good organizational skills and sharp attention to detail

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Efficient computer skills

• Knowledge of the DRAM fabrication process/test program/functionality

• Familiarity with Unix, DFII/Cadence, and/or uMate preferred

• Ability to work independently or in a group environment

• Basic understanding of electrical equipment

• Ability to use the analytical tools provided on the various test equipment, such as uMate, Curve Tracer, or Oscilloscope

Duration: 12 months (renewable)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Resident Engineer in daily close supervision and coordination duties
• Inspect and supervise Contractors’ works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications
• Enforce compliance to specifications, national regulations, local Authorities’ requirements, Singapore Standards and good industry practices
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with Contractors
• Review and comment on Contractors’ submissions, prepare and follow-up on comments closed out
• Oversee inspection and special testing requirements and ensure coordination of those efforts on all contracts
• Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with the local Authorities’ requirements
• Compile site progress status and photos into PowerPoint slides and present to Client during progress meetings with Client
• Attend weekly site safety inspections or ad-hoc inspections
• Prepare and manage the RTO duty rosters and disseminate to RSS C&S Team and contractors
• Check and sign the IRFs (inspection request forms) prior to inspection and manage the IRF closures

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered as Resident Engineer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction of large infrastructure project or waste/water management projects, particularly foundation piles, earth retaining or stabilizing structures, instrumentation & monitoring, ground improvement and soil investigation works

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end provisioning, testing and commissioning of telecom services

• Conduct BERT, OTDR, RFC2544 testing for service activation

• Carry out fiber patching, cross-connect, cabling and PoP/DC installation

• Execute MOP for installation, migration and troubleshooting activities

• Perform onsite work at customer locations, data centres and PoPs

• Support fault isolation and service restoration

• Maintain service, inventory and engineering documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in telecom field operations (5+ preferred)

• Hands-on experience in DWDM / OTN / Metro Ethernet networks

• Strong experience in:

  • Fiber optics (patching / splicing / cross-connect)

  • Testing tools (BERT, OTDR, RFC2544)

• Experience working in telco or vendor environment

• Comfortable with onsite field work and physical installation tasks

• Able to support 24/7 standby and night maintenance activities

• Good documentation and reporting skills (Excel, reports)
