Make an Impact by:

Service Ownership & Performance

• Own the end-to-end availability, reliability, and service quality of the Home Service Assurance (SMART) systems.
• Ensure platforms consistently meet service level KPIs, customer experience targets, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, identify trends and risks, and drive corrective and preventive actions to sustain service excellence.

Platform & Lifecycle Management

• Accountable for the full lifecycle management of SMART systems, including design, implementation, operations, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Govern system upgrades, patching, configuration, and technology refresh activities to ensure platforms remain secure, resilient, and supported.
• Oversee DevOps practices ensuring stability and continuous improvement.

Incident, Change & Recovery Management

• Provide leadership and decision-making authority during major incidents, service disruptions, and high-risk changes.
• Govern Change Management, Patch Management, and Configuration Management processes to minimize operational and customer impact.
• Lead service recovery efforts to restore services expeditiously, minimize downtime, and prevent recurrence through robust root cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage vendor performance against SLAs and contractual obligations, including escalation and resolution of service issues.
• Act as the primary operational liaison with internal stakeholders during incidents, audits, service improvements, and major initiatives.

Security, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company security policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
• Oversee system security controls, including vulnerability management, access reviews, penetration testing, and security monitoring.
• Proactively identify and manage operational, technology, and security risks to protect service continuity and customer trust.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency through automated deployments, monitoring, and standardized operational processes.
• Ensure engineering documentation, SOPs, and configuration records are accurate, current, and consistently applied.

People & Operational Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop team members supporting Home Service Assurance platforms, ensuring strong technical capability and operational discipline.
• Ensure adequate 24x7 operational readiness, including on-call coverage, standby support, and after-hours activities.
• Oversee Tier 2 support and manage vendor escalation for Tier 3 and Tier 4 technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and service stability.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in IT operations, service assurance, or systems/platform management in a production environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing 24x7 mission‑critical systems with strict SLA, availability, and customer experience requirements.
• Proven experience working with multi-vendor and multi-platform environments.
• Prior responsibility for operational governance, including incident, change, and service recovery management.

What you will do:

As Customer Excellence & Quality manager, you will be assigned directly to one or more major customers/ dealers to ensure their requirements are fully understood and translated to JCI’s design and operations processes.

This role will drive communication and action working directly with customer focal points for quality, account executives, PBU Quality leaders and other functional experts and leaders such as R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and Service.

This role includes establishing critical customer quality metrics for assigned key accounts while coordinating with the Customer Excellence & Quality Leader, orchestrating escalation resolution, and advocating for customers to ensure JCI is the best supplier. This person will be responsible to the assigned customers/account teams to drive improvement in key customer metrics by identifying issues/opportunities, initiating resolution/improvement plans and driving/tracking actions by engaging appropriate functional management and business units to ensure full support.

The scope of this role can be global/regional and will likely involve multiple PBUs.

How you will do it:

• Work with the Customer Excellence & GlobalQuality Senior Director and other Customer Excellence & Quality Managers tobuild and manage the processes to drive improved customer experience.  This includes the adherence to global processes, tools and communications mechanisms to ensure timely and accurate visibility of opportunities and issues driving to quick action and results.
• Track and proactively share key customer insights and feedback to ensure product design and process improvements for a better customer experience. Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to create feedback cycles, and to inform and enact these improvements
• Oversee the communication to the customer and resolve escalations when non-conformances are found at the customer in a timely and cost-efficient manner
• Develop and implement customer quality scorecard / KPIs to drive performance baselining and improvement on an ongoing basis
• Actively engage with your leadership and thebroader organization to support a customer-focused culture
• Account executive relationship management –Responsible for weekly updates to key partners across the business.  Must create and communicate progress in a way that builds confidence and demonstrates continued progress towards a world-class Quality organization
• Manage key partner relationships to ensure alignment across the enterprise via appropriate planning, execution, visibility, tracking, and governance
• Responsible for sharing Customer Quality and PMO best practices. Drive the use of best practices and apply lessons learned

Job Description

• Support the development and implementation of operational and strategic initiatives for the Care Studio and Rehabilitation Department.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of Care Studio programmes and services.

• Monitor departmental KPIs and manage budget and resource utilization.

• Oversee manpower planning and operations of the Care Studio and Rehabilitation teams.

• Develop policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and MOH licensing standards.

• Support recruitment, staff development, and retention initiatives.

• Manage the daily operations of the Care Studio and Rehabilitation Department.

• Develop and promote centre-based and home-based rehabilitation and day care programmes.

• Oversee the delivery of community and home care services.

Requirements

• Degree or Master's qualification in Allied Health or related disciplines preferred.

• Possess a valid BCLS + AED certification.

• Knowledge of the Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) landscape will be an advantage.

• Experience in quality and risk management.

• Experience in coaching, counselling, and manpower planning.

• Experience in start-up operations for care centres, nursing homes, or elderly home care services will be an advantage.

1. Nature of Engagement & Requirements

• Remote working arrangement except when need to head down for QC
• Flexible working hours (no fixed schedule)

2. Compensation Structure

Monthly Stipend (Fixed)

• $1,000 per month

• Covers all core responsibilities listed in Section 3

Monthly Performance Bonus (Up to $800)

• Bonus is paid monthly based on achievement of key outcomes:

A. Student Retention Performance – $400

• $400 payable if monthly retention rate is ≥ 98%

• 0 payout if < 98%

B. Service Quality / Escalations – $400

• $400 payable if 2 or fewer escalated cases in the month

• 0 payout if > 2 escalations

Bonus Eligibility Condition - Bonus is only payable if the Contractor has:

• Fulfilled all core responsibilities in Section 3

• Maintained timely and satisfactory execution of duties throughout the month

3. Core Responsibilities (Covered under $1,000 stipend)

A. Lesson Quality & Coaching Oversight

• Conduct minimum 3 quality check (QC) observations per week

• Observe lessons and assess teaching quality, student progress, and adherence to SOP

• Engage with parents/students for feedback or concerns

• Provide feedback and follow-up with coaches after observations/gathering feedback

B. Coach Management

• Engage regularly with coaches to ensure:

• SOP compliance - e.g. Highlight frequent/late cancellations or no shows

• Proper student progression

• Consistent lesson quality

• Communicate updates, reminders, and operational changes to coaches

C. Student Progress & Parent Engagement

• Understand goals and needs of students

• Proactively conduct follow-ups for at least 14 students per week - check in & update on progress after engaging with coach

• Maintain communication with parents regarding progress/feedback where necessary

• Manage SwimSafer test registration process & post-test outcomes

D. Escalation Handling

• Receive escalations from admin or coaches regarding:

• Lesson quality issues

• Parent dissatisfaction

• Coach-related concerns, etc

• Assess and intervene where necessary to resolve issues professionally

E. Student Transition Plan

• Plan smooth hand-over of students from one coach to another when needed

• Ensure satisfaction through the hand-over and follow up after transition is complete

E. Administration Oversight

• Supervise admin support staff

• Assign and review administrative tasks when required

• Ensure administrative accuracy and timeliness in execution of duties

F. Reporting

• Submit weekly summary report, including:

• Student progress updates

• Issues / escalations & outcomes

• Coach performance observations

• Key risks or concerns

• Terminations & reasons

H. Retention & Service Improvement

• Monitor reasons for student termination

• Identify patterns and propose improvements to enhance retention and service quality

4. Working Style Expectations

• Remote and flexible working arrangement
