Job Purpose
A Finance & Account Executive is responsible for assisting the Manager of Finance & Accounts in managing a company's financial activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control. To ensure financial stability by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting the Finance Manager in strategic decision-making. Responsible for data entry for Accounts Bookkeeping & Reporting, Accounts Receivable, updating and maintaining other accounting records
Responsibilities & Duties
1. Bookkeeping & Reporting
- Prepare full sets of accounts and monthly financial reports.
- Record transactions and perform financial analysis.
- Maintain intercompany reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
- Handle audit schedules, journal adjustments, and month-end closing.
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare variance reports and tax submissions.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers.
- Manage accounts, budgets, and financial monitoring.
- Compile data for reports, audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Assist with yearly budget and asset disposal.
2. Accounts Receivable
- Prepare and monitor AR ageing reports.
- Contact clients for collections and perform follow-ups.
- Issue invoices, credit notes, and reminders.
- Resolve discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with reconciliations related to AR.
- Maintain AR filing systems.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance/Accounting.
- ACCA/CPA/CFA qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, costing, budgeting, and reporting.
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.
