We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive business growth and expansion for our wholesale and retail operations. The role focuses on market development, supplier sourcing, and strategic partnerships to enhance revenue, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies to expand wholesale and distribution channels, increasing market reach and revenue
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including B2B partnerships, supplier networks, and regional sourcing initiatives to support business expansion
• Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, distributors, and key partners to strengthen the supply chain and business collaborations
• Conduct detailed market research and competitor analysis to enable data-driven strategic decisions
• Lead supplier and partner negotiations to optimize commercial terms, reduce costs, and improve profit margins
• Analyze sales performance, customer demand, and operational data to identify opportunities for improving business profitability
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to coordinate inventory planning and ensure efficient supply chain management
• Prepare comprehensive business reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for management review and decision-making
• Support initiatives for business expansion, including launching new product lines, sourcing channels, and forming strategic partnerships

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales strategy, or wholesale operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated by interpreting and applying business data effectively
• Proven experience managing suppliers, leading commercial negotiations, and developing partnerships
• Good understanding of supply chain management, wholesale trade, or retail operations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage diverse business partners
