Job Description:

• Understanding of Project Specifications, construction drawings and to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client’s requirements
• Monitor site works to ensure the method statements and work procedure are strictly followed.
• Competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s work site
• Ensure the Builder executes the work in accordance to Consultant’s instructions
• Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to Consultant, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project
• To ensure proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records and approved /as-built drawings
• Maintaining and updating site records on progress of work, housekeeping and preparing reports
• Verify the contractors’ progress payment, claim in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site
• Witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications
• Report to project QP / Project Consultants Team on quality and progress
• Period: 24 months
• Start from: June 2026

Requirement:

• Min Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of residential buildings
• Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES
• Conversant in statutory code and requirements
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills essential

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily technical operations of assigned vessels in compliance with company and industry standards.
• Plan and oversee vessel repairs, maintenance, dry dockings, and conversions within budget.
• Monitor vessel performance and implement corrective actions to optimize operations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, class, and statutory regulations and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate surveys, inspections, certifications, and regulatory approvals with relevant authorities.
• Conduct regular vessel visits, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare operational and management reports for internal review.
• Monitor and control vessel operating budgets and related financial reports.
• Support training and development of crew members and office staff.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.

Qualifications

• Possess a Marine Engineer Class 1 Certificate with relevant sea-going experience.
• 4-6 years of relevant tanker experience, including experience as Chief Engineer.
• Strong team player with a hardworking and proactive attitude.
• Good organizational, communication, and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst cum Tester to join the Business Excellence Centre of Excellence team. This role combines business analysis and testing responsibilities to ensure business solutions are aligned with operational needs, quality standards, and organizational objectives.

The successful candidate will support product launches, operational improvement initiatives, regulatory projects, and system enhancement activities while acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
• Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into system solutions
• Identify business process gaps, improvement opportunities, and operational efficiencies
• Support regulatory, operational, and system enhancement initiatives aligned with business objectives
• Ensure risk, governance, and compliance standards are adhered to for all changes and implementations

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Design and execute end-to-end testing strategies based on business and functional requirements
• Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and test plans across the application lifecycle
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document test results, and prepare UAT status reports and scorecards
• Log and track defects with clear reproduction steps, business impact analysis, and follow-up with technical teams for resolution
• Monitor testing progress, risks, and issues while coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders and technical teams
• Validate that delivered solutions meet operational excellence and business quality standards

Stakeholder & User Support

• Communicate testing outcomes, risks, and recommendations to business and project stakeholders
• Prepare user guides, operational documentation, and conduct training sessions for end users
• Provide system-related business support to internal stakeholders and operational teams

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related discipline
• Preferably 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, UAT
• Candidates with insurance operations or insurance processing experience are advantageous
• Understanding of business requirement gathering and documentation processes
• Exposure to UAT planning, execution, and defect management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Good understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and operational processes
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills

• Experience in insurance domain projects or operations
• Knowledge of business process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
• Familiarity with project coordination and testing lifecycle activities
• Exposure to regulatory and compliance-driven environments
