About the team

The Investment Services Platform Team (ISPT) is a central team within Platform Operating Model Control and Support in Global Operating Platform, reporting to the Global Head of Platform Control and Support with a global remit. The team provides support to the Investment, Dealing and Operations functions in Schroders Asset Management Business and works with teams across Schroders to implement change initiated from the three functions. What you’ll do

• Own daily PCF / basket file oversight (generation, validation, timeliness, and distribution/publishing per operating model).

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Proven experience in Active ETF / ETF operations, middle office, fund operations, fund accounting, custody/trustee, or ETF servicing.
• Strong understanding of ETF operating models, including key dependencies between portfolio holdings, basket/PCF outputs, pricing/valuation inputs, and downstream servicing.
• Demonstrable hands-on capability in PCF / basket file analysis and troubleshooting, including constituent validation and cash component variance investigation (or closely related file-based operational diagnostics).

Compliance Surveillance

• Review and clear Compliance Surveillance alerts generated by the firm’s trade surveillance system (E-Flow), conducting timely, well-documented investigations and escalating alerts with potential market abuse indicators in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
• Maintain accurate alert disposition records, ensuring outcomes are logged with sufficient rationale to support audit trails and regulatory scrutiny.
• Support the preparation and delivery of Compliance Surveillance MI, including alert volumes, false positive rates, escalation metrics, and trend analysis, for reporting to senior management and relevant governance committees.
• Assist in the maintenance and periodic review of Compliance Surveillance procedures, escalation frameworks, and the firm’s Market Abuse Risk Assessment (MARA), ensuring documentation remains current and fit for purpose.
• Contribute to periodic calibration and tuning reviews of surveillance alert parameters, helping to identify opportunities to reduce false positives and improve overall detection effectiveness.

Central Compliance Support

• Act as a point of coordination for Compliance Heads across jurisdictions, managing information requests, evidence gathering, and regulatory correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance registers, logs, and tracking tools.
• Support internal and regulatory reporting cycles, including the preparation of MI packs and audit-ready documentation.
• Keep abreast of relevant regulatory developments and assist in assessing the impact of rule changes on the business.

Essential

• 1–3 years’ experience in a compliance, financial crime, or regulatory role within a regulated or equivalent firm.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality written work.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for the compliance profession.

Desirable

• Exposure to retail investment services, particularly CFDs, spread betting, or leveraged products.
• Working knowledge of core compliance frameworks, AML/CTF obligations, and financial crime risk management.
• Familiarity with KYC/CDD processes and the practical application of a risk-based approach.
• Experience supporting a Compliance Monitoring Programme or internal audit/testing function.
• Understanding of transaction monitoring systems and alert investigation workflows.
• Familiarity with trade or Compliance Surveillance systems and experience reviewing alerts for potential market abuse indicators in a CFD or similar trading environment.
• Progress towards a recognised compliance or financial crime qualification.
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.

•Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Corporate Internet Banking platforms and payment systems.

•Lead workshops and interviews with corporate clients, relationship managers, product owners, and technology teams.

•Understand and map corporate payment flows (SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, GIRO, instant payments, bulk payments).

•Work on enhancements to cash management products, payment initiation, transaction approvals, and reporting functionalities.

•Prepare functional specifications, user stories, process flow diagrams, and wireframes.

•Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design corporate-friendly online banking interfaces.

•Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), SIT (System Integration Testing), and work closely with QA teams to validate solutions.

•Analyze and propose improvements for transaction security, multi-authorization flows, and payment file formats (e.g., MT101, ISO 20022).

•Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines for corporate payments (e.g., MAS regulations, anti-money laundering).

•Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

•Deep understanding of payment products: Domestic Payments, Cross-border Payments, Bulk Payments, Host-to-Host solutions.

•Familiarity with SWIFT messages, ISO 20022 standards, and other payment file formats.

•Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.

•Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

•Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Figma (optional).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify potential security incidents and unauthorized activities in a timely manner.

• Design, deploy, and manage threat detection rules and preventive security controls to safeguard critical systems and data in response to the latest threat landscape.

• Perform in-depth analysis of security events to determine the nature and scope of potential security incidents and recommend risk mitigation strategies. When necessary, carry out digital forensic for reporting and auditing purposes.

• Contribute in threat hunting exercises or cyber projects to improve overall security posture.

• 3 years of relevant experience in SOC environment
