Job Description

In your role as Electrical Engineering Lead / Manager, your focus will be to ensure that the installation and commissioning of the LV & MV Electrical systems and electrical control systems portion of the mechanical systems adheres to the technical requirements and the design already developed by the engineering contractor. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries non-conformance, SATand commissioning activities and facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the fabrication contractor, the engineering contractor, Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

• Visit to the fabrication yard and provide reliable information to the project manager regarding significant technical issues, particularly risks.
• Shall be integrated into the EPC engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with the fabrication yard representatives, the engineering design office, client’s home office and other discipline representatives at the fabrication yard.
• Where required, liaise and coordinate Electrical tasks with Suppliers, EPC Contractor and other disciplines.
• Troubleshooting / solution finding during fabrication.
• Shall propose a solution, including supporting documentation, to any design issues, flaws, or gaps in the contract requirements. These shall be agreed upon with Company before implementation.
• Coordinate electrical engineering tasks as needed during execution.
• Review costs for change orders, and progress claims when required.
• Follow up on progress and evaluate / oversee quality from the EPC contractor.

Job Qualifications / Skills

Your competencies:

• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar.
• Have extensive experience in electrical offshore engineering – preferably with offshore substation design and installation/commissioning – with a minimum of 15 years of experience combined with managing of complex engineering tasks.
• Comprehensive understanding of offshore OSS design standards and codes, Korean regulations are preferred (e.g., DNV-ST-0145)

This is not a typical engineer role.

We are looking to bring on a Chinese speaking Embedded Android Lead engineer to relocate to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and lead our growing engineering hub. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, with real ownership over both system scalability and team development.r and lead firmware and OS layer of our digital signage platform.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining a custom Android (AOSP-based) system running on Rockchip devices.

This role includes a full relocation package and offers a global career path, including the opportunity to work from our US headquarters as part of our rotation program.

What You’ll Do

• Build and customize Android (AOSP) for embedded devices
• Work with BSP and vendor SDKs (Rockchip)
• Optimize system performance for media playback and multi-display
• Own firmware lifecycle: build, release, maintenance
• Implement OTA update systems
• Work closely with hardware/ODM teams during bring-up
• Integrate drivers, HALs, and system services
• Enable remote diagnostics and debugging

• 8 to 12+ years of experience in embedded software and Android development

Responsibilities:

• Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and comply with project requirements and construction schedule
• Liaise with design consultants on the design intent, review M&E design drawings and advise on any under provisions and over provisions
• Coordinate with in-house architectural, civil and structural team to minimize discrepancies
• Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission
• Manage M&E subcontractors work progress, shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements submissions, and approval
• Attend M&E coordination meeting, prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance
• Ensure good M&E drawing management and the control of M&E documentation and filing on site
• Ensure timely production and submission of M&E shop drawings, materials submission and method statements
• Lead and mange M&E package delivery, construction and testing and commissioning activities
• Ensure all M&E site activities are well-planned, well-coordinated and on time
• Work with the planners on the project schedule
• Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services
• Coordinate with all M&E stakeholders to ensure work is carried out in accordance with the approved shop drawings, materials and method statements
• Conduct pre-inspection with subcontractors prior to facilitation RE and RTO inspection
• Carryout testing and commissioning activities at work site for both mechanical & electrical aspects
• Update and follow up on variation order with client and consultant
• Understanding in details of both mechanical and electrical systems
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering recognised by PE Board / BCA, or relevant M&E accreditation recognised by PE Board/BCA
• At least 8 years’ experience in Building Engineering projects
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
• Experience with prefabricated MEP system projects will have an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCad, and BIM
• Organised, meticulous with positive work attitude

TheTransformer Engineer (HV & MV) is responsible for supporting theengineering, technical coordination, and execution of high voltage and mediumvoltage transformer projects in Singapore. This role provides technical supportacross the project lifecycle, including design review, engineeringcoordination, procurement technical clarifications, factory inspection/FATsupport, delivery readiness, installation support, testing coordination,commissioning readiness, and final handover documentation. The TransformerEngineer works closely with Project Managers, OEMs, clients, consultants, andinternal site teams to ensure transformer systems are delivered in compliancewith OEM requirements, Singapore standards, client specifications, and safetyregulations.

KeyResponsibilities:

§  Engineering& Technical Coordination:

SupportHV/MV transformer projects from engineering phase through to commissioning andhandover. Review and coordinate technical deliverables including transformerdatasheets, general arrangement drawings, foundation/interface drawings,marshalling kiosk wiring diagrams, protection interface drawings, and auxiliarysystem requirements (cooling, On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC), monitoring).

Requirements:

§  Diploma orbachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.

§  Minimum 2–5years of experience in electrical infrastructure projects involving powertransformers.

§  Exposure toeither 22kV / 6.6kV MV transformers,  66kV transformers, 230kV transformerand experience supporting FAT, delivery readiness, installation, testing, andcommissioning activities in Singapore is strongly preferred.
