• Support the curatorial team’s research on Singapore’s post-independence history for special galleries. This includes:

  - Publishing in high quality, peer-reviewed journals
  - Securing competitive, peer-reviewed research funding
  - Conducting independent, innovative research;

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written English).

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Design and implement SoLEC’s research programmes in collaboration with colleagues;

• Lead the development of research projects and secure external funding opportunities;

• Publish internationally in peer-reviewed journals and disseminate impactful findings;

• Translate research into practice and policy impact within education systems;

• Manage administrative and programme‑related tasks to ensure smooth operations;

• Contribute to strategic research initiatives of SoLEC, OfR, and NIE;

• Participate actively in the wider research and service community of NIE.
