Requirements

• 1–2 years of IT Service Desk experience (3–5+ years for senior level consideration)

• Basic understanding of Unix or Linux environments is advantageous
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar enterprise ITSM platforms

A. Cost Allocation & AP Coordination

• Ensure accurate cost coding for all crew salary components and related expenses.

• Coordinate with Finance (Accounts Payable) to ensure timely and accurate invoice posting.

• Clarify discrepancies between Crewing records and AP postings.

• Maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes and month-end closing.

B. Data Preparation& Cost Analysis

• Perform monthly actual vs budget variance analysis for crew-related costs across vessels.

• Identify cost overruns, abnormal trends and pro-actively flag issues to Fleet Crewing Manager.

• Assist in preparation of crew forecasts and budgets.

• Assist in preparing vessel summary reports for management review.

C. Payroll Processing(backup role)

• Assist the Payroll Officer in generating monthly crew payroll across assigned vessels.

• Verify crew home allotment instructions and payment requests.

• Check reimbursement claims and prepare submissions for processing.

• Ensure all payroll entries comply with SEA contract terms and are correctly entered into CFM.

D. Administrative & Support Responsibilities

• Maintain updated crew payroll files, allotment records and supporting documents.

• Work closely with Crewing Officers, manning agents, and Finance departments for required information.

• Participate in process improvements related to payroll and documentation workflows.

•Perform any additional duties assigned by the Fleet Crewing Manager.

New Business (Insurance Operations Business Analyst)

You will serve as the functional SME for New Business operations, supporting process re-engineering, system enhancements, and change management initiatives to drive operational efficiency across the end-to-end policy onboarding lifecycle.

• Serve as the operational SME for new business workflows spanning e-submission, underwriting support, document verification, risk assessment, and policy issuance across individual and group life products
• Map and design customer journeys across new business platforms and back-end systems; identify process gaps and recommend system enhancements to improve straight-through processing (STP) rates and issuance turnaround
• Gather and validate business requirements from distribution, underwriting, compliance, and IT teams; contribute to BRD sign-off, UAT planning and execution, and post-implementation review
• Support product development initiatives by defining system and process requirements for new product launches, performing impact analysis on existing workflows, and ensuring readiness for production rollout
