Introduction/overview
The Senior Systems Engineer role sits within the infrastructure team and focuses on endpoint management, collaboration platforms, and enterprise user technologies, with a strong emphasis on security, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
You will take a hands-on role in administering and optimizing endpoint environments across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms using enterprise tools such as Intune, SCCM, and Group Policy (GPO).

The position involves managing virtual desktop environments, overseeing software deployment and patching strategies, and strengthening endpoint security controls.

You will partner closely with L1 support team as an escalation point for L2 issues, performing root cause analysis and driving resolution.

You will evaluate and implement new technologies to improve digital workplace capabilities, while supporting collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams, Slack, and enterprise messaging systems.

You will support documentation as well as creating SOPs.

Requirements
You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with at least 4 years of experience in enterprise endpoint management and technical support.

You bring strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Intune, SCCM, Azure Active Directory, and endpoint security solutions.

You are a structured problem solver with solid troubleshooting and analytical skills, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams. 

You are interested in emerging technologies, stay up to date with industry trends, and recommend relevant improvements where appropriate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be involved in IT projects (Understanding of business and implementing system developments)
• Ensure smooth processing/functioning of requirements
• Develop and/or and maintain managementreporting functions, in-house applications and automation tools
• Document work flows and processes
• Participate in any adhoc IT project/enhancements
• Liaise with Head office’s IT team
• Work closely with other business and external stakeholders including vendors

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in IT/Information Technology/Information Security/Computer Science or any other relevant IT education
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Developer/Programmer in Banking/Financial services/Fintech projects/software development
• Strong knowledge in Python/Java and web development methodologies e.g. React.js, Vue.js
• Familiarity with API integration, relational databases and version control tools
• Solutions-oriented, friendly, helpful, resourceful and able to multi-task
