As a DRAM and Emerging Memory Quality and Reliability Assurance (DEMQRA) High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing and tracking the formal Failure Analysis (FA) of customer-returned product. You will summarize analysis at the electrical and physical level, identify root cause, and establish associated containment plan. Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Engineer, Mechanical (Drafting Focus) to produce accurate, high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings that clearly reflect engineering intent. This role is dedicated to drafting, documentation, and drawing management to support manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly activities.

Main Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor.
• Translate engineering concepts, sketches, and design inputs into complete, manufacturable drawings.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Control and Software Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of advanced control systems and embedded software for next-generation Solid State Transformers (SST), high-power grid-tied inverters, and large-scale renewable energy integration platforms.

You will drive technical innovation in medium- and high-voltage power electronics for applications including data center electrification, utility-scale renewables, microgrids, EV charging infrastructure, and smart grid systems. This senior role involves end-to-end technical ownership—from control strategy definition and system modeling to real-time software implementation, validation, and field deployment—while mentoring junior engineers and influencing technology roadmap decisions.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the development and optimization of real-time control algorithms for Solid State Transformers (multi-stage, multilevel, and resonant topologies) and grid-connected inverters operating in both grid-forming and grid-following modes.

· Architect and implement robust embedded software and firmware (C/C++) for DSP, FPGA, and multi-core microcontroller platforms, ensuring high-performance bi-directional power flow, fault management, and seamless grid interaction.

· Define and execute system-level modeling and simulation strategies using MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD/EMTDC, or similar tools; drive automatic code generation and model-based design workflows for production systems.

· Lead renewable energy integration efforts, including PV, wind, and energy storage systems, with advanced techniques such as virtual synchronous machines (VSM), hierarchical power management, droop control, inertia emulation, and compliance with stringent grid codes (IEEE 1547, IEC 61727/62116, Grid Code requirements).

· Oversee Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Power-Hardware-in-the-Loop (PHIL), and Controller Hardware-in-the-Loop (CHIL) testing campaigns; lead performance validation, stability analysis, and certification activities.

· Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams (hardware, systems, test, and firmware) on protection schemes, communication architectures (IEC 61850, Modbus TCP, DNP3, OPC-UA), cybersecurity, and functional safety.

· Mentor and guide junior control/software engineers; conduct design reviews, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement of the control software platform and architecture.

· Identify and solve complex technical challenges related to harmonics, resonance, grid disturbances, renewable intermittency, and high-power SiC/GaN-based converters.

Required Qualifications

· Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Control Systems, or a related field (PhD strongly preferred).

· 7+ years of hands-on industry experience in control and embedded software development for high-power power electronics, with direct involvement in inverters, DC-DC converters, or Solid State Transformers.

· Demonstrated expertise in:

o Advanced control techniques (Model Predictive Control, resonant controllers, adaptive control, PLL/synchronization algorithms, dq0-frame and stationary-frame control).

o Real-time embedded programming (C/C++, RTOS, bare-metal) and FPGA firmware (VHDL/Verilog).

o Model-based design and automatic code generation workflows.

· Strong background in power electronics modeling, renewable integration, microgrid systems, and grid compliance testing.

· Proven track record of leading technical deliverables from concept through to successful product deployment or field operation.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate site installation works with in-house supervisor and foremen to ensure the project schedule is met.
• Attending site coordinate meetings with main-con, consultants and other contractors.
• Hands-on and technical assistance for Electrical / ELV system installation and troubleshooting on site.
• Prepare material requisition for all Electrical / ELV equipment and materials.
• Prepare work programme for Electrical ELV Works with material delivery and installation activities in accordance with the project programme.
• Analyse, manage and track project costs against budget.
• Carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC,  
• Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&M to respective authorities or clients to in timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards.
• Coordination with other trade of contractors such as Mechanical System, Process System, Structural etc.
• Participate in in-house engineering design works of Electrical system, including detailed design, load calculation, voltage drop calculation, cable sizing, cable routing, shop drawings, equipment selection, etc.
• Review 3D BIM model and ensure correct the installation details, compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
• Participate in liaison with Electrical / ELV suppliers for quotation, carry out equipment selection, technical and commercial evaluation.
• Prepare material submittals for electrical system to the Consultant for approval.
• Coordinate with project schedule in organizing Purchase Order, arrange timely delivery of all electrical equipment and materials.
• Participate in tender preparation for new projects.

Requirements

• Min Diploma Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Min 8 years of relevant working experience in building construction industry, preferable in handling Building Service Electrical / ELV works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Experienced and possessed relevant knowledge in Electrical / ELV calculations is an advantage.
