Job Title: Accounts Receivable & Collections Executive (Malaysia-based, supporting Singapore operations)

Location: Petaling Jaya

Role Overview

We are looking for a disciplined and proactive Accounts Receivable & Collections Executive to support our Singapore operations.

This role is execution-focused and requires strong ownership, follow-through, and the ability to manage tasks independently without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update the bad debt recovery schedule on a daily basis
Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables across assigned accounts
Prepare and send Statements of Account (SOAs) to customers
Track all follow-up actions (emails, calls, responses) with clear status updates
Draft and send collection emails to customers
Escalate issues clearly with proposed actions (not just reporting problems)
Ensure all assigned tasks are completed with proper tracking and closure

Key Requirements

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Collections
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage structured tracking
Good written communication skills (client-facing emails required)
Proficient in Excel (tracking, follow-ups, basic reporting)

Takes ownership of assigned tasks and follows through to completion
Acts on emails and instructions without waiting for repeated prompts
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records at all times
Communicates status, issues, and next steps clearly and promptly
Able to prioritise and manage multiple accounts independently

What This Role Is Not

This is not a purely administrative role
This role requires independent execution and accountability
Candidates who require close supervision for routine tasks may not be suitable

Ability to structure and track follow-ups
Responsiveness and clarity in communication

Key Responsibilities:

A. Product & Textile Design

Develop original patterns, prints, motifs, and design concepts for garments, hijabs, scarves, and related textile products.
Prepare design proposals, mock-ups, and presentation visuals for internal review and approval.
Translate brand direction, product themes, and market trends into commercially viable designs.
Adapt artwork and patterns into production-ready files where required.
Work closely with management, production, and merchandising teams to ensure designs are aligned with product strategy and manufacturing requirements.

B. Branding & Creative Design

Design creative materials for branding, campaigns, promotions, events, packaging, catalogues, and other corporate or product-related use.
Ensure consistency in visual identity across all online and offline materials.
Support the creation of corporate presentation materials, proposals, flyers, posters, and digital assets.

C. Marketing & Social Media Support

Develop visual content for social media platforms, digital campaigns, and online promotions.
Assist in planning and producing engaging content aligned with marketing objectives.
Support basic copy ideation, campaign visuals, and content layout for social media and digital channels.
Monitor design and content trends relevant to fashion, retail, lifestyle, and Muslimah markets where applicable.

D. AI-Enabled Workflow & Productivity

Use AI tools, including ChatGPT and other approved tools, to improve design ideation, content generation, campaign planning, workflow efficiency, and internal productivity.
Support the team in applying AI-assisted methods for faster turnaround of creative and marketing tasks.
Maintain good judgment in using AI to support, not replace, originality, brand alignment, and commercial quality.

E. Coordination & Execution

Manage multiple creative tasks and deadlines in a lean operating environment.
Maintain organized design files, templates, and content assets.
Coordinate revisions and feedback efficiently with relevant stakeholders.
Undertake other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Textile Design, Fashion Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of relevant working experience in graphic design, textile/fashion design, or related creative field.
Proven experience in designing patterns/prints for garments, hijabs, scarves, or related products is strongly preferred.
Experience in digital marketing or social media content creation is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and other relevant design software.
Strong capability in layout design, pattern design, colour coordination, and visual storytelling.
Familiarity with social media design formats and digital content requirements.
Working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT is a must.
Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics is an added advantage.
