Job Summary: 
Act as the key person in Singapore overseeing all ocean freight operations, including coordination with Indonesia entities, container planning, and vendor management. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage full-cycle ocean freight operations from Indonesia to Singapore. 
• Coordinate feeder vessel shipments and transition to mainline vessels. 
• Plan container utilization and consolidation strategy to optimize cost. 
• Serve as main contact point for freight forwarders, shipping lines, and local agents. 
• Oversee documentation accuracy and compliance requirements. 
• Monitor shipment timelines and proactively resolve disruptions. 
• Build and manage relationships with logistics service providers. 
• Provide basic cost tracking and shipment reporting. 

Requirements: 

• 4 to 7 years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping operations. 
• Strong knowledge of LCL, FCL, and transshipment processes. 
• Experience handling multi-country coordination. 
• Able to work independently and set up processes from scratch. 
• Comfortable working in a lean setup without an in-house logistics team. 
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous boundaries. 
• Demonstrate strong proactiveness in identifying issues and driving solutions independently.
• Good written and spoken in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with Chinese speaking associates and China HQ office.
