Project Engineer – Job Description
A Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and according to technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Ensure all works comply with safety standards and regulations
- Manage project budgets, materials, and resources
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support
- Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates
- Ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements
A) Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) is preferred
- Candidates with or without experience are welcome to apply (for junior roles)
- Relevant project/site experience is an advantage
B) Skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical ability
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Familiar with software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, etc.
