Key Responsibilities
Conduct QC checks and testing to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Checks inclusive of incoming raw material testing, in-process testing, finished goods testing, product shelf-life testing, sensory evaluation of products.
Conduct daily in-process quality control (QC) and hygiene inspections at production lines.
Conduct daily microbiological tests on finished goods in compliance with internal specifications.
Ensure related documents follow the requirement of FSSC, Halal and customer.
Perform other QC checks as required or ah-hoc tasks as assigned by QA/QC manager from time to time.
Minimum requirement
Junior / Entry Level/ Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma in Food Science/Food Technology or science-related discipline.
Initiative, willingness to learn.
Good working attitude, communication, and interpersonal skill.
Able to multitask and work with other cross functional departments, good organizing skill.
6 days’ work week and able to perform late shift rotation.

Key Responsibilities (Skills & Outcomes‑Focused)
Carry out material preparation activities and support daily production/cooking operations according to established procedures.
Prepare, label, and pack samples for customer submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
Perform basic laboratory testing, record results accurately, and maintain proper documentation (minor scope).
Support the cleaning, care, and routine maintenance of laboratory work areas and equipment.
Apply 5S housekeeping principles and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) consistently.
Execute daily in‑house cleaning routines to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
Provide operational support for ad‑hoc tasks as required by the team.
Skills & Competencies
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling and basic production support.
Basic understanding of laboratory practices, testing procedures, and data recording.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and record‑keeping.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
Ability to communicate clearly to understand work instructions, safety procedures, and operational documentation
Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands‑on operational environment.
Experience & Training
Relevant training or experience in operations, production, laboratory, or similar environments is preferred.
Min GCE O level / NITEC / Higher NITEC in a relevant field
