This is the first global Quality, Reliability and Assurance leadership hire.

The role requires one person who has done both:

A.  Personally built and implemented formal quality systems (including ISO frameworks) in a scaling manufacturing or technology environment

B.  Personally owned product quality and reliability outcomes in a real production and supplier ecosystem

This role is NOT suited for leaders who have primarily operated within mature, steady-state multinational environments maintaining established quality systems. It requires a hands-on 0 - 1 builder who can create structure from ambiguity, establish discipline where it does not yet fully exist, and elevate the organization's quality maturity without compromising speed, pragmatism, or stakeholder alignment. The successful candidate will build the company’s global quality assurance framework & foundation from the ground up, drive adoption across functions, and act as the senior quality authority for the business globally - while simultaneously owning product quality performance and reliability outcomes.

MANDATE AND ACCOUNTABILITY

1.   Global Quality Assurance System Build, Certification and Institutionalization (Primary Focus ~35 - 40%)

This function will serve as the backbone of the company’s Quality Assurance framework, ensuring system integrity, compliance, and process discipline globally.

• Build and implement the company’s first global Quality Management System (QMS) from ground up
• Lead ISO establishment and certification readiness, including ISO9001 (initial build and certification), ISO14001 and other relevant standards as required
• Define global quality policies, SOPs, governance standards, and escalation pathways
• Establish structured CAPA, root cause analysis, audit, and compliance disciplines
• Build a quality operating rhythm that can scale across geographies, teams, and external partners

This role goes beyond system administration. The successful candidate will design, implement, and institutionalize a global quality system that is adopted, enforced, and sustained across the organization.

2.   Product Quality and Reliability Ownership(Critical ~30 - 35%)

• Own the quality and reliability agenda for the company’s products across development, manufacturing, and post-release performance

Product quality is the priority focus of this role. Customer quality, supplier quality, incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality all matter, but the centre of gravity is product quality.

3.   Supplier and Contract Manufacturing Quality Governance (~20 - 25%)

• Build and enforce supplier quality standards across a globally distributed external manufacturing and supplier network
• Drive quality alignment with contract manufacturers and key suppliers across multiple countries
• Implement practical controls for incoming quality, process quality, outgoing quality, and supplier corrective actions
• Escalate and resolve quality breakdowns across external manufacturing partners without compromising business credibility

This role requires someone who is comfortable operating in outsourced and contract manufacturing environments, NOT only within captive factory settings.

4.   Change Leadership, Stakeholder Influence and Quality Culture (Cross-functional)

Context:

The GCIO Chief Control Office (CCO) team plays an important role in enabling the bank to operate within its risk appetite by ensuring efficient and effective risk and control management. We do this by providing operational risk and control expertise, specialist technical knowledge and a deep understanding of the businesses and functions we serve.

Key activities include implementation and oversight of the Group’s Risk Management Framework, on going and targeted controls assessments, implementing and maintaining robust risk governance, and championing a proactive risk culture. GCIO CCO works closely with partners across all lines of defence and is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with our regulators and external partners.

Therole holder will be responsible for:

• Partnering with the GCIO CCO function to oversee the risk and control portfolio related to the services Singapore or consumes from the Group.
• You will be a leader within the GCIO Chief Control Office (GCIO CCO) Function that directly supporting Singapore

This will be achieved by:

• Acting as trusted advisor for senior management by partnering to manage their operational risk i.e., risk assessments, control environment, issues management, audits.
• Promoting accountable risk and control decision-making based on quality data and analysis, actively challenging poor, inefficient or excessive controls, related tasks and behaviours.
• Providing specialist risk and control knowledge and insights, leading efforts to continuously improve the control environment and monitoring of risk, including behaviours
• Advising and designing process and controls in a commercially viable, practical and effective manner.
• Identifying trends to anticipate future developments in the risk and control environment.
• Influencing and shaping the development and implementation of future-fit risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• Providing Senior Management with updates on any relevant changes to policy or projects related to operational risk that have an impact on their area of responsibility.

The role is part of a global team and will be expected to support and collaborate with other team members across multiple regions, as well as manage their portfolio while maintaining an acceptable risk profile.

Functional Knowledge

• 10 years hands on experience in Technology Risk Management, IT Audit, Information Security, or IT Compliance within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of IT general controls(ITGC), application controls, and infrastructure security.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of at least one local technology regulation
• Familiar with other key technology standards/frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity, COBIT, ITIL)
• Previous experience of identifying and solving problems that have impact on your work or the wider business.
• Strong communication skills to influence and challenge stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to support board paper submissions.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to handle and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Active industry recognized certificates will be an asset, e.g. CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CCSP etc.

Our client is a well-established F&B group with a central kitchen supporting multiple outlets across Singapore. They are seeking an Assistant Manager, QA to oversee food safety, quality control processes, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Food Safety

• Oversee overall quality and safety of food products at Central Kitchen
• Ensure products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements

Audit & Compliance

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in food quality assurance or food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Experience in Central Kitchen or food production environment preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Working Location

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 documentation, including Quality Manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records, to ensure system compliance and management review readiness.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal and external audits to ensure organizational readiness for third-party certification, management reviews, and customer audits.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support and participate in customer and supplier audits to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Review audit findings, develop corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Generate and review supplier quality performance reports, work closely with suppliers to resolve non-conformances, and promote continuous improvement.
• Issue, monitor, and follow up on Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR), ensuring effectiveness and timely closure.
• Support qualification and onboarding of new suppliers to maintain a robust pipeline aligned with production requirements.
• Manage calibration schedules and preventive maintenance programs for equipment to ensure operational reliability and compliance.
• Address quality issues arising from production and customer feedback by working closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and resolve customer complaints with proper documentation.
• Ensure timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), non-conformance reports, and customer complaints, and publish quality performance reports.
• Lead Material Review Board (MRB) meetings with cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness.
• Supervise and lead QC inspectors to ensure parts inspection compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in quality or manufacturing environments, with exposure to audits and documentation.
• Basic understanding of supplier management and quality coordination.
• Familiarity with commonly used quality management standards (e.g. ISO systems).
• Working knowledge of quality tools and process control methods.

• Hands-on experience with MDR/SIEM platforms, CrowdStrike Falcon Complete preferable
• Experience in IAM governance and privileged access management
• Background in incident response and log analysis
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders across business units
• Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, logistics, government)
• Familiarity with data protection regulations
