Mechanical Site Engineer

• Office: Woodlands
• Working location: Attap Valley
• Working days & hours: 5.5 days
• Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | Sat: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• (May be required to work beyond these stated hours based on project or operational requirements.)
• Salary range: SGD 3,000 - 4,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements:

    •    Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

    •    1–3 years of relevant experience in M&E / HVAC project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
    •    Coordination & Communication
    •    Liaise with Main Contractor, consultants, and other subcontractors to resolve site issues and ensure work sequences are aligned.
    •    Attend coordination meetings and prepare minutes of meetings when required.
    •    Follow up on outstanding site matters and ensure timely completion of works.
    •    Technical & Documentation
    •    Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure technical compliance and highlight discrepancies.
    •    Prepare and submit technical queries (TQs), method statements, and material submissions.
    •    Mark up drawings for As-Built Drawing updates and coordinate with draftsperson for revisions.
    •    Support preparation of shop drawings, coordination drawings, and update red-line drawings during installation.
    •    Progress & Reporting
    •    Prepare weekly progress reports, covering work done in the previous week, current progress, and forecast for the next week.
    •    Monitor work schedules and coordinate with the site team to ensure targets are met.
    •    Assist in preparing work programs, manpower schedules, and progress tracking charts.
    •    Quality & Safety
    •    Conduct inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and QA/QC procedures.
    •    Participate in Safety Assessments and ensure safe work practices at site.
    •    Report and follow up on any non-conformances or safety observations.
    •    Project Support

Our Client has been operating in Singapore providing construction, reconstruction, and A&A (Addition & Alteration) works across residential and commercial projects is looking for qualified candidates to join as Project Engineer (Building Construction).

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall project management and coordination to new and existing projects with the proper monitoring of manpower allocation, project requirement and attendance of meeting, etc.

• Prepare, discuss and report project schedule, cash flow, budget, etc. with the management.

• Track and report weekly on project(s) completion.

• Track and forecast on monthly project revenue and expenses, etc and other key project metrics.

• Outline and determine project roles of team members based on respective project requirement, timeframe and budget.

• Outline and determine resource requirement (including staffing, software, hardware, equipment and facilities) of respective projects, based on project specification and requirement.

• Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.

• Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
