Job Summary
Design quality Creative Writing Curriculum and deliver engaging Creative Writing lessons to primary school students, assess their progress, and collaborate with parents and academic leaders to enhance learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design the Creative Writing Curriculum for the primary levels
- Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum guidelines to ensure effective learning outcomes
- Design and implement activities and worksheets incorporating diverse learning approaches to enhance student participation
- Assess student progress regularly and communicate feedback clearly to parents to support student development
- Review feedback from the academic Head of Department and refine teaching practices to support differentiated learning
- Mark assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students
- Attend team meetings and teacher development sessions
- Provide make-up lessons or class coverage when required
- Carry out basic administrative responsibilities related to classes and student progress

Preferred qualifications/competencies
- Degree in Education, English Language, or Literature
- Professional command of the English language
- 3 to 5 years of teaching experience
Work Schedule & Expectations
Full-Time Position
· 5-day work week (including weekends)
Teaching Workload
· Up to 11 classes per week
· Small class size of max 6 students
· Lesson preparation, marking, parent communication, and team collaboration expected as part of the role
