Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot factory utility systems, including electrical power distribution, compressed air systems, chilled water and cooling systems, HVAC, gas supply, scrubber systems, and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) equipment.
• Perform water sampling and basic laboratory testing (e.g., pH, COD, BOD, TSS), analyze results, and adjust chemical dosing as required to ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure a stable and continuous supply of utilities to production lines and critical equipment.
• Monitor utility performance and identify abnormalities to prevent production downtime.
• Carry out general maintenance and handyman tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) activities for all facility and utility equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and corrective repairs with minimal disruption to production.
• Identify recurring issues and support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Provide on-site technical support during production hours.
• Respond promptly to any facility-related issues affecting production.
• Assist in machine installation, relocation, and commissioning from a facilities perspective.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, fire safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to shutdown/startup procedures, permit-to-work systems, and contractor safety guidelines.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Participate in emergency response situations (e.g., power failure, gas leaks, fire alarms, water leaks).
• Maintain accurate records for maintenance, breakdown reports, and utility consumption.
• Support 5S practices and maintain good housekeeping in facility areas.
• Provide on-call or shift support for facility-related emergencies.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Company.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field).
• At least 1–3 years of working experience in factory facilities, utilities, or maintenance environment.
• Basic knowledge of facility systems such as electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance (PM) practices and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements and regulatory standards is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support production needs.
• Willing to work on shifts, on-call, or during emergency situations when required.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Source suppliers, request and evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) based on internal requests and demand forecasts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. To plan and lead shift operation and Preventive maintenance activities toward achieving "Zero
Interruptions" for customers in utilities support.
2. To define and develop clear scope of work for facility corrective maintenance work and coordinate the rectification works with good planning and execution with build good working relation with production staff.
3. To participate in all improvement and cost saving programs, internal or external training to gain facility operation knowledge e.g. Energy saving program, benchmark, Predictive maintenance and expense reduction activities and Electrical Safety Program.
4. To participates in all improvement (CIP) and cost saving programs e.g. Benchmark and expense reduction activities.
5. To support department ISO and other certification audits for your respective area by keeping all audit relevant documents in tip top condition. To work closely with Safety Officer in ensuring safety work practice is enhanced in the company premises.
6. To prepare and submits monthly facility preventive maintenance reports and Keep all Preventive maintenance activity in schedule. 
7. To maintain system in good working condition by planning PM and CM program for respective shift operation and strictly follow Bosch guideline.
8. To define and develop clear scope of work for Corrective maintenance program.
9. To ensure all Preventive maintenance works are according to specification and statutory requirements and follow Bosch guideline, agreed by requestor, PM Master chart need to develop and get approval before starting any activities. Any other duties assigned by the Immediate Superior from time to time.
10. Comply to audit system without any noncompliance issue. Keep PM audit documents in tip top condition.
