MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Job Scope / Responsibilities:

1. Design & Engineering: Design and develop mechanical systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), plumbing, fire protection, and other building services.Prepare and review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals in accordance with project requirements and codes.Coordinate mechanical system layouts with electrical, structural, and architectural elements.
2. Project Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with consultants, architects, and other engineers to ensure coordinated M&E designs.Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and vendors for material selection and technical clarifications.Attend site and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
3. Site Supervision & Installation Oversight: Supervise and inspect mechanical works on-site to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.Monitor installation of HVAC, fire protection systems, plumbing/sanitary systems, and gas piping (if applicable).Ensure that all mechanical installations are carried out according to approved shop drawings and relevant standards.
4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Assist in planning and execution of testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning phases.Ensure proper documentation, including O&M manuals and as-built drawings for handover.
