Job Summary

The role of Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day maintenance, functionality, and operational readiness of all club facilities. This role oversees maintenance programmes, vendor coordination, procurement of facilities-related requirements, and the upkeep of physical assets to ensure a safe, comfortable, and high-quality environment for members, guests, and staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and external service providers to maintain club standards while supporting cost-effective facilities operations.

Responsibilities

Facilities Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee daily maintenance and operational readiness of all club facilities and common areas to ensure seamless functionality
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for facility systems, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and assets to minimize downtime
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with operational standards
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, service reports, and asset inventories for effective asset management

Vendor Management

• Coordinate and supervise external contractors, service providers, and maintenance vendors to ensure timely and quality service delivery
• Ensure all maintenance works comply with safety standards and agreed service levels to protect staff and members
• Obtain quotations, evaluate vendor proposals, and recommend cost-effective solutions for repairs and maintenance requirements

Procurement

• Manage procurement of facilities-related supplies, equipment, furniture, and maintenance services to support operational needs
• Support sourcing, price negotiations, and purchasing activities to ensure value and quality in acquisitions
• Track asset replacements, repairs, and lifecycle management to sustain long-term operational efficiency

Operational Support

• Provide facilities support for club activities, private events, and operational requirements to ensure smooth event execution
• Collaborate with various departments to address facility-related requests and operational needs promptly
• Support after-hours maintenance coordination when required to maintain continuous facility operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering, Hospitality Operations, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, hospitality, or a related environment
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail to handle multiple priorities effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience coordinating facilities support for events, functions, or entertainment venues to enhance event delivery
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge in AV, sound, lighting, and IT-related operational support to expand skill set

Job Description: 

Reporting to the CEO and General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational readiness, technical infrastructure, facilities management, and execution of a multi-concept experience comprising all dining, lounge, bar, spa, meeting and entertainment spaces.

The role will require you to manage venue operational platforms, technical support requirements, facility maintenance coordination and event execution to ensure seamless operational efficiency and deliver high service standards across all club functionalities, with the support of two junior facilities management assistants. 

Managing cost efficiency strategies to support business sustainability will also be crucial in this role.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operational readiness and functionality across ALL club facilities, including the current and upcoming new spaces (i.e. restaurant, lounge, bars, spa, meeting rooms, event spaces. work spaces etc..), with a team of operations assistants.

• Coordinate and execute logistical requirements across all departments to ensure expectations and operational standards are met.

• Lead procurement activities across the club, including sourcing, price negotiations and purchasing of equipment, furnishings, maintenance services, and operational supplies. Coordinate repairs, replacements, and asset upkeep to ensure facilities remain fully operational.

• Manage technical and operational support for private functions, themed events and in-house club entertainment.

• Oversee the maintenance and functionality of F&B operational systems, including POS systems, Wi-Fi infrastructure, kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, chillers, ovens, and bar equipment.

• Coordinate and manage external service vendors and maintenance agreements, including HVAC servicing, pest control, fire safety compliance, kitchen exhaust maintenance, and pipe jetting services.

• Ensure overall facility readiness, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency through routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance coordination.

• Handle ad hoc operational and technical requirements to support uninterrupted club operations and event execution.

Additional Skills (Advantageous but Not Required) 

• Ability to support the maintenance and functionality of operational technologies across the club. Prior exposure to AV, sound, lighting, or IT systems is beneficial but not essential.

The Role

Reports to: Head of Programming

We’re looking for an art director to steer our creative studio and oversee our design operations for an 8-month contract. This is a fast-paced, high-autonomy role where you’ll be leading live projects across the club including F&B, events, membership, spa and coworking space. You will be the brand guardian responsible for keeping our visual standard high.

What you’ll be doing

• Brand Guardianship: Taking our brand guidelines and ensuring every visual touchpoint in the Club remains cohesive, and intentional.
• Creative Oversight: Managing the day-to-day studio workflow and collaborating with the team to move projects efficiently from concept to completion.
• Production: Moving projects from digital concepts to physical collateral. You’re happy to get your hands dirty to make sure the final product looks perfect in the space.
• Social Content: Managing The Nanson's social media channels, including quick-turnaround photography and video layout needs.

The Fit

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a specific kitchen section (e.g. grill, fish, larder) to the highest standards
