JOB OVERVIEW: As a Chef De Partie (CDP) you are responsible for supporting the Head and Sous Chef, delivering consistently high-quality food, handling purchase orders and ensuring that items arriving are documented. They ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Plan and execute menus in collaboration with other colleagues
• Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis

Job Description

• To assist in menu development from sourcing of ingredients to the final plating. Innovation, uniqueness and current trends should be take into consideration so as to meet current market demands.
• To source for high quality and fresh ingredients as well as cooking instruments required.
• Ensure that usage of ingredients are optimised, and that food wastage in the restaurant is kept at a minimal.
• Cost management and budgeting
• Tasting of final dishes to provide constructive comments to elevate quality.

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking dedicated and flexible Kitchen Assistants to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations during service. You will work alongside experienced cooks to prepare food and maintain high hygiene standards while contributing to the success of the kitchen.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly at appropriate temperatures
• Handling multiple food orders at one time
• Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
• Help to prepare food before the arrival of the guests for special arrangement/ reservation
• Operates various kitchen appliances such as blender, oven, grill or stand mixer
• Cleans food preparation areas and maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen
• Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
• Utensils to be sanitized at the end of the shift
• Cleans up after business hours
