• Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to make sure that the schedule is kept.
• Lead team to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.
• Manage operational cost to keep cost within the budget.
• Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
• Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance of contract requirements.
• Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.
• Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
• Oversee the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project to meet completion date.

Job Description

1. Project Planning and Design:

• Develop detailed engineering plans and designs for infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create and analyze designs.

2. Project Management:

• Oversee the construction and implementation of projects to ensure they meet design specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

3. Site Inspection and Evaluation:

Requirements

1. Education:

Position Summary:
A Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. They supervise and lead the construction crew, coordinate activities, and ensure that the project is executed according to plans and specifications. The Foreman also acts as the point of contact between the site workers and higher-level management.Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Supervision:Supervise, direct, and manage construction workers, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule and to specification.
Provide clear instructions to workers, delegate tasks, and maintain productivity on-site.
Train new workers and provide ongoing guidance to ensure proper work methods and safety standards are followed.

Supervise the proper use and maintenance of construction equipment and machinery.

Schedule and Productivity Management:Ensure that tasks are completed according to the project timeline and work schedules.

Coordinate with other trades and workers to ensure that activities are carried out smoothly and efficiently.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily work activities, materials used, workforce attendance, and safety checks.

Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a construction foreman or similar supervisory role.
