Technical Skills:

· The key job scopes of the successful candidate are:

· Conducts System Interaction testing to deliver to new programs intended to meet or exceed customer experience with the guidance from experienced engineers.

Windows on Arm Validation technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing computer hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and reporting. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong background in computer hardware and software.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support WOA Validation Engineering team for testing and validation
• Perform basic computer setup and maintenance, including computer disassembly and assembly, WOA installation and driver installation/upgrade, BIOS flash/upgrade
• Run testing and perform issue troubleshooting and reporting
• Conduct reported issue reproduction and validation, collect and analyse test logs, generic triage & debug
• Complete all test requests on time and communicate revised schedules as necessary
• Utilize software tools such as bug tracking tools, databases, and others as required
• Submit bugs into tracking tools and accurately classify severity levels
• Perform ad-hoc testing on new software and firmware components and assist in developing test plans
• Understand/modify/develop and execute simple scripts using Python or other programming languages

Job Summary As Validation Test - Technology and Program Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of validation testing activities across multiple projects. You will drive the qualification tests of full system Hardware & Software required for the delivery of new commercial laptop systems. You will work closely within internal functional groups and external ODM partners to drive full system Hardware & Software Compatibility testing, project resource planning, test issues troubleshooting and coordinating appropriate trainings to meet or better the existing quality . The role ensures adherence to testing guidelines and standards, and analyzes test data to provide actionable insights. The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to improve product quality, mitigate risks, and drive innovation.

Responsibilities

* Leads and provides expertise to program teams and outsourced test partners responsible for all stages of systems, equipment, and device testing, including solution and test plan design, validation, tooling, test execution and results evaluation.

* Develop and implement validation testing strategies and methodologies for Personal Systems solutions and products.

* Define and maintain the validation master plan (VMP) for each project, outlining the validation approach, scope, and deliverables. Lead a team of validation engineers and specialists in the execution of validation testing activities, including test plan development, test execution, and documentation of test results.

* Collaborate with software development teams to ensure that validation requirements are incorporated into the software development lifecycle.

* Establish and maintain validation procedures and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in validation activities.

* Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify and mitigate potential risks to computer system validation.

* Track and report on the progress of validation activities, including milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.

* Stay informed about emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and industry trends related to computer system validation testing.

* Reviews and evaluates product designs and project activities for compliance with technology and testing guidelines and standards.
