You will connect with car buyers and sellers via phone, WhatsApp,to build trust, recommend the right cars, and close transactions fully online. This role demands strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and the ability to convert leads into successful sales without face-to-face interactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Engagement & Conversion

• Handle inbound leads from Mudah.my, Leadbot, and campaigns with immediate and consistent follow-up.

• Execute outbound calls to warm leads, presenting cars, financing options, and Mudah Certified benefits persuasively.

• Understand customer needs (budget, preferred model, financing readiness, trade-in options) and provide tailored recommendations.
   

2. Customer Experience & Trust-Building

• Build rapport through consultative, customer-first selling.
  Clearly explain the value of buying with Mudah Certified (trusted dealers, warranty, transparent inspections).

• Handle objections confidently and guide customers through the complete digital purchase journey.
   

3. Process & Coordination

• Schedule inspections, test drives, and dealer appointments via WhatsApp.
  Coordinate with Certified Dealers, inspection teams, and financing partners to ensure smooth process flow.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of leads, calls, and outcomes accordingly.

4. Compliance & Professionalism

• Follow Mudah’s telesales compliance standards and protect customer privacy at all times.
  Ensure full transparency in car details, pricing, and financing terms.

• Escalate issues such as dealer misrepresentation, delayed collections, or buyer disputes.

Key Responsibilities

Leads management

The Merchant Services team at Carousell is responsible for establishing Carousell as the to-go online marketplace platform for all kinds of businesses ranging from retail, ecommerce, business services, home services & many more. The primary objectives of the Merchant Services Team is to acquire new businesses to be on Carousell, promote and educate Carousell advertising tools and ensure a long lasting relationship with Carousell.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Senior Associate to acquire & support businesses, brands, stores etc. to on-board & advertise with Carousell. This individual will drive sales of media and internal products (e.g. Carousell Coins) and manage advertiser accounts to ensure they are successful & using Carousell’s ad product. The scope will include all categories and sectors in Singapore, excluding cars and property sectors.

This role will report to the Sales Lead.

You Will: 

• Drive sales of assigned category/territory, acquire & on-board new merchants onto Carousell and achieve individual sales & revenue targets through your efforts.
• Proficient in prospecting through cold calling, canvassing & cold emails/LinkedIn etc.
• Able to articulate clearly & confidently the USPs and value proposition of advertising on Carousell and follow-up through the sales process.
• Experienced in managing sales pipeline and able to accurately forecast weekly sales and implement GTM sales strategies to achieve monthly targets.
• Build lasting business relationships with advertisers, ensuring they are successful in their business objectives when using Carousell ad products and media.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients establishing themselves as trusted consultants at all levels.
• Advise on client’s digital strategy and educate advertisers on Carousell ad platforms across channels and devices.
• Optimise accounts to improve performance for the advertiser.

About the Role

We are looking for a Channel Growth & Operations Associate to help scale our device Trade-In business across major online platforms and retail partners.

This role sits at the intersection of partnerships, operations, and growth, managing Trade-In programs across partners such as Lazada and Shopee, while also working with the Carousell platform team to run marketing campaigns that drive awareness and demand for Trade-In services.

You will play a key role in growing Trade-In adoption through channel management, program execution, and traffic generation initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Channel Growth & Performance

Manage performance of Trade-In programs across e-commerce and partner channels. Including but not limited to:

• Proposing and executing promotional campaigns

• Identifying improvements in customer journey and conversion flow

• Working with partners to launch new initiatives and improve adoption

2. Partner & Program Management

Coordinate and manage relationships with platform and retail partners.

• Supporting onboarding of new Trade-In partners

• Coordinating program launches with partner teams

• Negotiating and proposing improvements to program structures

• Preparing weekly updates and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for partners

3. Marketing Campaigns (Carousell Platform)

Work with the Carousell marketplace team to run traffic and awareness campaigns for Trade-In services. Responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing campaigns using Carousell Ads and platform notifications

• Launching targeted promotions to drive Trade-In awareness among Carousell users

• Monitoring campaign performance and optimizing messaging

• Working with marketing teams to develop campaign creatives and messaging

4. Operational Execution

Ensure smooth execution of Trade-In programs across all channels.

• Setting up Trade-In programs in internal backend systems

• Coordinating with operations and logistics teams

• Managing financial settlements and reconciliation with partners

5. Reporting & Insights

• Track weekly performance of Trade-In channels
