To supervise architectural works to project completion, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, regulations, and client requirements.

• Background knowledge and experience on supervision of architectural works
• Ensure work carried out in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications
• Attend site walk with owner and consultants
• To identify, highlight and address any critical issues, discrepancies, non-conformances and irregularities on site
• Assist in review of main contractor’s shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements etc
• Assist to prepare, maintain, and update site reports and records on project progress
• Monitor, report and assess site progress and quality standards
• Ensure contractors’ compliance with safety protocols, cleanliness, and tidiness on-site

Requirements

• Diploma in Architecture, Building Service, or related disciplines from recognized tertiary institution
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in site supervision of building works, architectural elements, and finishing works on construction sites in Singapore
• Conversant in building statutory codes and requirements
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, being responsible, meticulous and a good team player
• Competent in computer skills

To lead, manage and coordination of projects complying with authorities' requirements and standards.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work as a team.
Essential duties include the following:

• project management, coordinate and assist in the day to day running of projects assigned
• liaise and coordinate with Clients, Consultants and Contractors
• ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
• keep updated on contractual and authorities' requirements
• confidently administer the contract and effectively manage the project team
• coordinate and carry out tender, evaluation, recommendation and award processes
• proactively identify and resolve technical coordination, site or compliance issues
• nurture, coach and upgrade skill levels of team members

Requirements:

• Degree in Architectural from recognized tertiary institution recognized by Board of Architects Singapore
• Registered with Board of Architects Singapore preferred
• Minimum 6 years post graduate local working experience
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Familiar with BIM and Authorities submission process and guidelines
• Proficient in Autocad, Revit, Sketchup

Roles & Responsibilities

The Design or Project Architect will be part of an in-house project team to work on architectural projects and will carry out the following responsibilities:

• to work on and actively contribute to the design and development of architectural projects with opportunity to carry through the project through various phases of the project cycle (from concept design, schematic design, design development, construction).
• expected to coordinate with consultants from various disciplines and clients/stakeholders and find creative and workable solutions for the project together with the project team.
• will be working in a dynamic team environment

- Design Architect : part of a team for design competitions or design, design presentation packages, design development and tendering.

- Project Architect : to attend and participate in meetings, technical discussions and coordination with contractors/ consultants. To take minutes and follow-up on project and construction activities as well as to carry out contract administration responsibilities.

Requirements

• Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects Singapore or equivalent.
• 0-5 years post graduate experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Skills in design, CAD and 3D modelling software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup, BIM (Revit) and Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on, possesses initiative and willing to learn, with an open and highly collaborative mindset and approach.
• Good understanding of local codes/regulations and contracts is a plus.
