About The Team

We are hiring a Strategy Analyst to support a high-performing Strategy team that works directly with the CEO. You will work across a wide range of topics -- long-term corporate strategy, investment analysis, financial performance, market research, and organizational priorities -- providing the research, data, and analytical foundation that the team builds on.

This is an early-career role designed for someone who is sharp, structured, and hungry to grow fast. You will be exposed to the most consequential decisions in the company from day one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking across a wide variety of strategic topics
• Build and maintain data models, financial trackers, and analytical frameworks that support ongoing strategy work
• Develop a working understanding of Amartha's P&L, business model, and financial drivers to support investment and performance analyses
• Produce first-draft slides, data summaries, and written sections for review by the Senior Strategy Manager and VP Strategy
• Turn raw data and research into clean, insight-ready charts, tables, and executive-friendly visualizations
• Support preparation for high-stakes meetings with C-suite and senior stakeholders across the organization
• Respond to ad hoc requests from VP Strategy with fast, accurate, and well-structured outputs

• S1 from a reputable Indonesian university (UI, ITB, UGM, UNPAD, Prasmul, BINUS or equivalent)
• Economics, Management, Engineering, or quantitative disciplines preferred; strong academic record expected
• 1 to 3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or a structured analytical role
• Strong quantitative skills -- Excel proficiency, financial modeling basics, and comfort with data analysis

About the role

The Sales Performance Analyst will drive the performance of the field acquisition team by institutionalizing high-quality execution standards, developing Agent Partner (AP) capabilities, and optimizing organizational health. He/she will translate data into actionable SOPs and learning programs that ensure the field network team grows sustainably and efficiently.

Job Description

1. Capability & Learning Development

• Skill Gap Analysis: Identify core competency gaps within the field acquisition team through performance data and field shadowing.
• Training Framework: Design and implement a continuous learning curriculum focusing on negotiation, territory management, and product knowledge.
• Certification Programs: Establish a "Graduation" or "Tiering" system to incentivize AP to move from novice to expert levels.

2. People & Organization Development

• Performance Management: Design incentive schemes and KPIs that align with long-term network quality, not just short-term volume.
• Organization Structure: Evaluate and recommend optimal spans of control for field leaders to ensure adequate coaching and supervision.
• Retention Strategy: Analyze AP turnover and implement engagement initiatives to maintain a stable, high-performing field force.

3. SOPs & Execution Excellence

• Standardization: Develop and maintain end-to-end SOPs for the acquisition lifecycle—from prospecting and onboarding to first-transaction support.
• Quality Assurance (QA): Create audit frameworks to ensure field agents are adhering to compliance and branding standards during the acquisition process.
• Tool Optimization: Drive the adoption of SFA (Sales Force Automation) tools to ensure real-time reporting and eliminate manual bottlenecks.

• Industry Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Development, or Trade Marketing within FMCG, Telecommunications, or PPOB (Payment Point Online Bank).
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with CRM or SFA software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or proprietary field apps).
• Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) is a plus.
• Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to turn raw field data into a structured process or training module.

About The Team

Amartha is actively expanding its digital risk management team as part of our strategic focus on digital transformation in 2025. We are looking to strengthen our capabilities in managing digital lending risks to support our growing portfolio of digital financial products. To this end, we are currently seeking a highly skilled in data analytics to join our team. This role will play a critical part in shaping and overseeing the digital risk management strategies for our digital lending platforms, ensuring that we continue to provide secure and effective financial solutions to our customers while mitigating potential risks in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Establish fraud detection and prevention frameworks that leverage analytics, machine learning, and behavior insights. 
• Conduct fraud analytics, including the development of promo abuse risk scoring, creation of fraud rule scenarios, analysis of emerging fraud patterns, and identification of process vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement anti-fraud policies and procedures for digital products.
• Collaborate with data science teams to develop fraud detection algorithms.
• Collaborate with product, technology and third-party providers to embed fraud detection mechanism into digital products and customer journeys. 
• Conduct root cause analysis on confirmed fraud cases to identify vulnerabilities and implement control measures. 
• Work closely with internal teams such as fraud investigator, product, technology, credit risk, data science and compliance to ensure fraud controls are integrated into all digital products and partnerships. 
• Lead initiatives to automate and streamline fraud monitoring processes, improving efficiency and accuracy. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field are a plus.

• 2+ years’ experience in fraud risk management, preferably within digital lending, embedded finance, banking, and fintech.
• Strong in Data Analytics, good knowledge in query and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of fraud detection tools and e-money/ e-wallet security system.
• Strong knowledge of fraud patterns, fraud rules, and fraud analytics.
• Proven track record in developing and managing risk frameworks for digital products, digital loans and embedded finance. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and external partners
