Job Summary

The Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring service excellence, staff performance, and compliance with company standards. This role helps manage both front-of-house and back-of-house coordination to ensure smooth business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager to drive service excellence and operational efficiency
• Supervise service staff by monitoring performance and enforcing high standards of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
• Develop and support staff scheduling and deployment plans to optimize workforce productivity and coverage
• Manage customer feedback by resolving service issues promptly and professionally to maintain positive guest experiences
• Enforce compliance with company SOPs, hygiene protocols, and safety standards to uphold operational integrity
• Assist with inventory control and ordering processes to maintain stock levels and support cost management objectives
• Monitor cash handling procedures, POS operations, and daily sales reports to ensure financial accuracy and accountability
• Train, coach, and motivate staff to sustain consistent service quality and foster a collaborative team environment
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless front-of-house and back-of-house operations
• Assume full operational responsibility in the absence of the Restaurant Manager to maintain business continuity

JOB DESCRIPTION

Install air-conditioning systems.

Perform troubleshooting and repair of air conditioning units.

Carry on-site preventive servicing and maintenance of air conditioning systems.

Clean, check and repair air conditioning units, including warranty servicing.

Diagnose faulty air-conditioning systems and equipment to identify root causes and replace defective components.

Improve air quality and system efficiency by cleaning cooling coils (Chemical Wash / Steam Cleaning).

Ensure drainpipes are free from dust and dirt and functioning properly.

Perform repair work promptly and efficiently.

Submit daily service and maintenance reports.

Ensure all work complies with appliance standards and Workplace Safety & Health regulations.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

Attend training when required.

Min 1 year experience.

Must be willing to perform manual work.

• Monthly salary SGD 2,300 – SGD 2,400
• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; 6-day work week with 6 monthly rest days

Maintenance Technician RESPONSIBILITIES:

To assist the Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

• Install/maintain of machinery and equipment
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts and conduct tests to ensure that repairs are satisfactory
• Monitor performance of machinery and equipment, adjust and calibrate as needed
• Periodically perform basic diagnostic tests and preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities in accordance with prescribed schedules
• Clean and lubricate equipment and machinery
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
