PROJECT ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Manage newly awarded jobs smoothly into production through detailed communication with our customers and departments within Connor

• Lead in New Project launch by chairing in meetings and following up with respective department team members to ensure customer requirements in quality, delivery and support are understood and met

• Lead in FMEA, GR&R, Cpk and DOE studies for new project 4.3.4 Work with QA, Engineering and Production departments on the FA samples submission and pre-production build

• Communicate with Purchasing on the supply of raw material or services from vendors/subcontractors related to new project

• Work with QA department on Quality Plan development related to new project

• Develop Packaging Specifications by working with in house personnel and/or vendors related to new project

• Work with the Logistic department on shipment cost, lead-time, and other shipment related matters for new project

• Communicate with subcontractors (including subsidiaries of Connor) and suppliers if required (for smooth progress of new project)

• Ensure that the cost of manufacturing activities ranging from material purchase to production to shipment are not higher than the costing used in the related quote submitted to customer

• Ensure all subordinates under his/her care comply with the environmental legal/regulatory requirements

Qualification, Skill & Experience Requirements

• Qualifications Minimum a technician certificate or equivalent in Manufacturing or Engineering or SPMV

• Training/Skills Computer literate and possess working knowledge in Statistical Process Control Tools and Project Management is desirable

• Experience Minimum 3 years experiences as a Project Management lead in a manufacturing company
