Procurement Officer

Job Descriptions:

• Handle end-to-end daily purchasing and procurement matters
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local suppliers to achieve the best terms and conditions.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, performance evaluation, and risk management.
• Coordinating all purchase activities, monitor/ track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and product quality, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor truck movements using GPS / GPRS tracking systems.
• Monitor Fuel Consumption Tracking

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• With working experience in spare parts administration and repair or related field will be an added advantage
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Good communication in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or equivalent tools.
• Highly experienced individual would be considered for a senior role.
