Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E works within construction projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, technical drawings, and industry standards
• Coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills demonstrated in managing M&E project tasks
• Ability to multitask and work independently under project deadlines

The Business Development Manager is responsible for business development, build trust and long term relationships with customers, work with sales and marketing team to provide broad based and niche personalised service and consistently top-notch food products sourced globally.

He/she is expected to maintain a forecast and targeting sales attainment plan, participate in competitive analysis and pricing strategy development, perform market research, prospecting, develop sales strategy and meet sales targets. He/she is also responsible for managing business resources, servicing existing customer accounts and at the same time penetrating into new channels and open new accounts.

Resourceful and analytical, he/she is required to manage resources and obtain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders. He/she is also expected to have strong leadership skills, make business decisions independently.

• Working Hours: Mon to Fri (8.30 am – 5.30 pm), Alternate Sat (8.30 am – 12.30 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall construction phase, including site planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and project closure.
• Support the preparation of construction contractual documents, tender documents, approvals, and submission requirements.
• Identify project construction requirements based on project size, scope, timeline, resources, and site conditions.
• Monitor construction progress, review progress reports, and ensure alignment with contractual requirements for time, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate project meetings, verify action items, follow up on outstanding matters, and ensure timely resolution of site issues.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control standards to ensure works meet project specifications and stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, construction procedures, and company standards.
• Manage subcontractor work activities, site performance, productivity, project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Drive workplace safety, health, and sustainability practices in line with WSH policies, environmental standards, and green building guidelines.
• Manage project completion, defect rectification, testing and commissioning, handover documentation, risk controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of construction site management experience in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site operations, quality control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing site teams, subcontractors, workers, and project stakeholders.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage reports, documentation, meetings, and project coordination.
