What the role is
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join a Strategic Planning team focused on shaping the future of a digital and AI-driven economy.
In this role, you will help develop long-term strategies that guide national-level digitalisation efforts across infrastructure, policy, governance, and industry transformation. You will play a key role in identifying emerging opportunities, analysing technological and industry developments, and translating insights into actionable strategies and plans.
You will work closely with multiple internal teams, external agencies, and industry stakeholders to drive alignment on digital economy priorities and support the development of forward-looking policies and programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about technology, strategy, and national-level transformation.
What you will be working on
- Develop long-term digital economy and AI strategies to support national digitalisation goals.
- Define mid- to long-term strategic objectives and translate them into actionable workplans across teams.
- Lead cross-functional reviews of new and emerging opportunities in the digital economy.
- Conduct research, trend analysis, and forecasting across technology, industry, and regulatory landscapes.
- Support economic, policy, and data-driven assessments to enable evidence-based decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal divisions and external stakeholders to align on strategy and implementation.
- Track programme performance and outcomes, and recommend strategic adjustments where needed.
- Support resource planning and allocation to enable execution of strategic initiatives.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic planning, policy, consulting, or related analytical roles.
- Experience in public sector or government-related work is an advantage.
- Strong experience preparing proposals, reports, or presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong ability to synthesise complex information clearly.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical ability, and sound judgement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
- Strong interest in digital economy, emerging technologies, and AI trends.
