About the Role

Join our team as a CQV (Commissioning, Qualification & Validation) Engineer, supporting the start-up and validation of state-of-the-art pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with project, engineering, and quality teams to ensure all systems meet GMP compliance and are ready for commercial production.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) activities for pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing facilities, utilities, and process equipment.
• Develop and review CQV protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and reports in compliance with GMP, GAMP 5, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and quality teams to ensure timely CQV execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CQV-related issues during project execution.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, PIC/S) and local health authority guidelines.
• Support FAT, SAT, and risk assessments for new or modified systems.
• Provide technical input during design, construction, and operational readiness stages.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in commissioning/qualification/validation in pharmaceutical or biotech industries (senior roles may require 5+ years).
• Familiar with GMP, GAMP 5, ISPE Baseline Guides, and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Hands-on experience with utilities (e.g., WFI, clean steam, HVAC), process equipment, or cleanroom systems preferred.
• Good communication and project coordination skills.

The Engineer, Technical Service (ACMV) is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and operational performance of ACMV systems and equipment. The role supports preventive maintenance activities, Addition & Alteration (A&A) works, upgrading projects and technical operations to ensure systems are operating efficiently, safely and in compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing works for ACMV equipment and systems
• Monitor ACMV system performance and analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend rectification solutions for equipment and system failures
• Support testing, commissioning, upgrading, retrofitting and Addition & Alteration (A&A) works for ACMV systems
• Review technical drawings, specifications and method statements for maintenance and project works
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders on operational and technical matters
• Prepare maintenance schedules, technical reports, SOPs and operational documentation
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and subcontractors on site activities
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), Environmental Management System (EMS) and statutory requirements
• Support emergency response activities and critical system recovery works when required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant ACMV maintenance, operations or facilities management experience
• Familiar with ACMV systems, chiller plant operations and preventive maintenance practices
• Experience in A&A, upgrading or retrofitting projects will be an advantage
• Knowledge of local WSH regulations and safety practices
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including subcontractor works, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board, or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing projects of similar scale, nature, and complexity, particularly in building works.
• Prior hands-on experience in construction site supervision and coordination.

• Acts as the main technical advisor on construction sites, supervising staff, tools, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Interpret technical designs, set out site layouts, provide technical advice, and enforce safety regulations.
• Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site to establish building locations, grades, and elevations, ensuring all structural work follows design plans.
• Overseeing daily construction activities, managing subcontractors, and coordinating materials and labor to meet project goals.
• Providing technical solutions to site issues and conducting quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

The Role:

• Perform qualification/buy-off data collection oftest hardware/equipment eg. on changekit / load board/ test handler/ post testscanner based on release criteria.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Engineering & Design

· Understand customer requirements provided through project kick-off documents such as customer standards, project specifications, basis of designs, sequence of operations, equipment interfacing points lists, schematic drawings and layout plans.

· Work together with equipment suppliers and subcontractors to formulate ACMV control systems solution proposal to meet customer requirements.
