Job Description

We are looking for an experienced clinical monitor to perform the study monitroing in ADVANcing Clinical Evidence in Infectious Diseases Network (ADVANCE ID). ADVANCE ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focussed on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. The Network will continuously develop its capabilities, quality and efficiency by learning from and collaborating with other clinical trial networks.

In the long term, the Network aims to support broader infectious disease studies by expanding geographically beyond its original starting point in South East Asia and collaborating with other networks around the world. It will function as an active network that involves patients in platform trials, allowing for rapid clinical research response in the event of an emerging infectious disease or pandemic threat.
The monitor should be able to supervise study sites and activities to ensure adherence to appropriate study protocols and applicable regulatory requirementterms of the study.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct qualification visits (QV), site initiation visits (SIV), monitoring visits (MV) and termination visits (TV) at assigned clinical sites and generate visit reports.
• Monitor the progress of clinical study sites participating in a clinical study, and to assure the protocol is followed and data is reported accurately.
• Evaluate the quality and integrity of the reported data, site efficacy and investigational product (IP) management.

• Lead and support contract negotiation efforts with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and procurement objectives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred.

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in MS office and Excel

• Advanced analytical and negotiation skills

• Familiarization with SAP will be an added advantage

• Positive working attitude, willingness to learn and thrives in a team environment

• Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment; backgrounds in medical equipment sales and applications, clinical engineering, biomedical technology management, or healthcare procurement will be an added advantage.

Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Freight Forwarding
• Position Title: Regional Commercial Manager
• Working Location: Gul Circle
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $9,000 + AWS
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Operations Managers to regularly review and plan service loading at each depot and identify any gaps.
• Create and implement a sales plan for each depot, targeting both existing and new customers, considering depot capacity, profit margins, regional market needs, and depot strengths.
• Support Senior Operations Managers in evaluating and growing the customer base.
• Communicate with customers regularly to understand their needs and offer suitable solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and generating leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at current and potential customers, serving as the main contact to ensure satisfaction and handle concerns.
• Develop tools to measure customer satisfaction and set standard service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track company performance.
• Lead price negotiations, understand market pricing, and set effective pricing strategies.
• Respond promptly to customer commercial enquiries, including preparing and following up on offers, in coordination with Senior Operations Managers and Customer Service.
• Develop and maintain sales reports.
• Set and achieve sales targets for each location.
• Support the budgeting process using sales forecasts, customer growth data, and demand for new services.
• Lead contract negotiations with customers to secure favorable terms for the company.
• Review contract documents, identify risks, and suggest solutions.
• Monitor contract compliance and resolve any issues or disputes that arise.
• Stay updated on industry changes, new technologies, and regulations that may affect the business.
• Provide market insights and recommendations to help shape company strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services to customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, preferably in Logistics.
• At least 5 years of commercial experience in the tank container depot sector.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development in a managerial role.
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and experienced in gaining stakeholder support and leading teams.
• Strong understanding of the tank container depot industry.
• Proactive and innovative, with proven success in building and executing sales processes.
• Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and unique selling points for different sites or regions.
• Proven sales track record and ability to secure key business accounts.
• Willingness to travel frequently, up to 50% of the time for business purposes.
