We are looking for a hands-on Technical Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will be the key link between innovation and supply chain execution, ensuring the successful sourcing of critical electronic components for our hearing aids and accessories.

You will play a vital role in securing our supply chain resilience by supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and leading "2nd Sourcing" initiatives. • New‑Product Sourcing

The key role of the Executive/Senior Executive, Vendor Management is to provide administrative support to the Procurement function focusing on vendor onboarding, due diligence, compliance checks, audit support, and vendor performance monitoring.  The role also supports procurement systems (e.g., Source to Pay System), resolves vendor-related issues, and contributes to governance, sustainability initiatives, and budgeting activities in alignment with organisational policies and regulatory requirements in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Vendor Onboarding & Compliance

• Perform vendor onboarding, due diligence checks, and maintain accurate vendor records.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Procurement Systems & Vendor Support

• Manage and respond to vendor queries related to procurement Source-to-Pay system.
• Liaise with Business Units, IT teams, and system support providers to resolve vendor issues.

Vendor Risk Monitoring, Audit & Governance

• Monitor vendor performance, risk assessments, and support reporting/dashboard preparation.
• Support internal and external vendor audits, including documentation and administrative coordination
• Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs and vendor management processes for operational efficiency.
  

Other Responsibilities 

• Support procurement sustainability initiatives, including ESG data collection, vendor assessments, and engagement programmes.
• Act as Budget Coordinator to support budgeting, forecasting, and departmental training coordination.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Section Manager or authorized supervisors.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain operations (more experience required for Senior Executive level).
• Experience working with Source To Pay Systems or similar procurement platforms will be an advantage.
• Prior exposure to vendor evaluation, financial analysis, or audit support will be an advantage.

Skills

Technical skills include:

• Familiarity with Source to Pay systems is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), PowerBI, and PowerAutomate,

Procurement Duties

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and quality services/products.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and quotations.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Liaise closely with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Support inventory monitoring and stock control where required.

Administrative Duties

• Provide general administrative and operational support to the team.
• Handle filing, documentation, and record management.
• Coordinate office supplies, courier services, and general office maintenance.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and internal documentation.
• Support scheduling of meetings and coordination with external stakeholders.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Maritime Studies, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in Procurement and Administration.
• Candidates with majority of their experience in Procurement are highly preferred.
• Prior experience in the Marine and Offshore industry will be a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management, and purchasing documentation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Able to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous, organized, and a strong team player.

Preferred Profile

• Experience dealing with marine equipment, offshore vendors, or shipyard-related procurement.
• Knowledge of ERP or procurement systems is advantageous.
• Candidates who are resourceful and commercially aware will be highly regarded.
