If you are a Sales professional
with an interest in the Marine industry, Emerson has an exciting opportunity
for you! This role focuses on driving growth for Propulsion Optimization and
Emission Saving Technologies (EST) while strengthening customer engagement
across Asia Pacific. You will partner closely with customers, the Marine Sales
Channel, and regional support teams to advance our solutions in the market. The
Sales Manager is accountable for ensuring regional teams in Asia and the Middle
East achieve their annual trade order targets by collaborating with Product and
Sales teams to execute our go to market strategy and introduce EST offerings
that support market expansion. The role also carries direct booking and sales
responsibility for assigned territories.
In this Role, Your
Responsibilities Will Be:

Build strong customer relationships by
understanding operational challenges in the marine industry and recommending
Emission Saving Technologies that meet their needs.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the region
for Propulsion Optimization and EST technologies, clearly communicating value
propositions and supporting sales teams in demonstrating solution
differentiators.
·
Lead growth initiatives across assigned
regions by developing strategic plans, tracking progress, and driving increased
sales, market presence, and profitability according to budget.

Identify, engage, and cultivate new accounts
within the region to expand adoption of Propulsion Optimization and EST
solutions.
·
Acts as bridge between Regional Sales team and
Product team to convey regional critical issues of commercial or product
development requirements.
·
Collaborate on the regional execution of sales
and marketing strategies, contributing insights that support market growth and
customer engagement.
·
Works with the Leadership team to provide
regular regional updates and collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to
support annual product initiatives.
·
Manage and develop the agent network by
maintaining strong communication and fostering effective collaboration across
internal and external partners.
·
Use tools such as Poseidon and MTM sales
policies to manage reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate
inputs for POR and SE & OP processes.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Sales or technical experience in marine
propulsion control systems, or a sailing background with strong knowledge of
propulsion control systems and an aptitude for sales.

Experience in key account management and
value-based selling.
·
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to
work effectively within a matrixed, cross functional environment.
·
Passion to lead the team effectively to meet
annual Trade Order and Sales target.
·
Strengths in innovation, problem solving,
analytical thinking, numerical reasoning, attention to detail, and practical
learning.
Preferred Qualifications That
Set You Apart:
·
A degree or equivalent experience in Business,
Engineering, or a related field.
·
Experience in international sales of technical
products, especially those related to propulsion control or optimization.
·
Previous sailing experience will be
advantageous.
·
Proficiency in multiple languages.
