Job Summary

The primary objective of the Sales Representative is to ensure attainment of sales objectives by providing excellent service and advice to current customers within an assigned hospitals / clinics / surgeons, whilst also leveraging new and existing business with the aim of growing market share. He/she is also expected to provide guidance to junior sales reps in sales activities.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide account management and maintain good rapport with customers to ensure attainment of sales objectives
• Build and establish relationships with key decision markers to grow sales and share in the Orthopaedics Implant market
• Liaise with Sales & Marketing Manager to identify business growth opportunities; develop/execute sales and budgeting plans
• Assist surgeons and nurses in the use of Zimmer’s instruments and products in surgeries
• Work with Operations/Distributors to ensure the delivery of complete instrument and implant to customer/operating theatre
• Conduct product training/workshops
• Actively participate in product training/workshops to enhance product knowledge and surgical techniques
• Study relevant clinical articles/information to enhance knowledge and provide relevant advice to internal/external customers
• Show leadership and guidance in interaction with junior sales reps, with view of being groomed to be a future segment leader.

Job Summary

The primary objective of the Area Sales Manager is to ensure attainment of sales objectives by maximizing the effectiveness and productivity of Sales Representatives.

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the assigned cluster sales strategy through the provision of leadership and direction to the Sales team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and skills to impact surgeons’ use of Zimmer Biomet products. This responsibility involves a significant amount of time spent coaching and developing individuals through regularly scheduled field visits & other coaching activities, as well as ensuring that Sales Representatives are appropriately trained in the technical and interpersonal aspects of their role.

The Area Sales Manager should possess a strong working knowledge of Zimmer Biomet and competitor products. With accountability to maximize market potential within an assigned geography, Area Sales Managers have the responsibility to set performance goals for Sales Representatives and to monitor performance on a regular basis.

As a management role within the sales arena at Zimmer Biomet, Area Sales Managers act as a liaison point between the Sales Representatives and the various internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Operations) whose work impacts or is impacted by field activities. As a conduit of information to and from the field, Area Sales Managers must facilitate Sales Representative recognition and understanding of how changes in the industry, customer environments, or within the larger Zimmer Biomet organization affect their approach to selling. As a way of maintaining high motivation and commitment from the sales team, the Area Sales Manager must at times act to transfer information from Corporate, translating it into terms that can be easily understood and accepted by the Sales team.

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for providing highly visible onsite and remote technical support within their assigned regions for ROSA® Surgical Devices. This role is responsible for handling, maintaining, installing and providing support for ROSA as well acting as a key player in complaint investigations, including troubleshooting with on-site Zimmer Biomet representatives in the operating room. The FSE plays a critical role in ensuring the servicing of the ROSA Surgical Device throughout its lifecycle.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform ROSA system installations, along with troubleshooting and repair
• Schedule and conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) at customer sites as required
• Assess technical problems and find a solution or determine how to elevate questions appropriately in high pressure situations
• Act as a liaison between Zimmer Biomet and customers on communications regarding quality and performance of products

Job Summary

The role is responsible for defining and driving the medical training and education strategy for the entire Southeast Asia (SEA) and South Asia (SA) region consisting of Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India and the Emerging Markets (including but not limited to Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Nepal). To achieve this, the individual will need to understand and internalize the regional product segment strategies and the individual country segment strategies.

With the diverse scope of countries, the role will need to analyze the varying needs of the individual markets and individually tailor regional training programs to meet the training needs for majority of HCPs from each country and develop several into faculty over a period.

The role will also work with a third-party event logistics vendor to execute those training and education programs to the highest degree of effectiveness and professionalism.

This role will also be required to develop and nurture relationships with key HCPs in the SEA and SA countries and develop several into faculty over a period. Finally, the role will also be required to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the courses being run and to take steps to continuously improve the outcome by working on the agenda, course design and methods of delivery. The individual will provide leadership to the SEA and SA Med Ed team to achieve these tasks.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to the SEA and SA Med Ed team. Establish priorities, develop goals, provide direction and coaching to the individuals in his/her team. Develop individual team members in the team to maximize potential of each of them.
• Analyse and determine the training and education needs for all the key markets within the SEA and SA region and develop and execute the educational strategy to meet HCP training and education needs and at the same time support the business goals of the organization.
• Establish rapport with key faculty with the aim of working closely with them to develop highly effective courses for the SEA and SA region.
• Identify and track key potential HCPs from early stages of training until they attain expertise in the identified skills.
• Evaluate and determine the best course parameters to deliver effective and professional events for the SEA and SA region: Course structure and design, faculty and delivery methods, level of interactivity, and modality.
• Work with 3rd party vendors to deliver high quality logistics to provide best in class peripheral experiences for the course participants.
• Provide support to the for Regional ZBI events, when required.

• Basic knowledge in human anatomy will be an advantage
• Ability to learn technical information, with in-depth understanding and present it succinctly in an educational forum/meeting

Travel Requirements

Willing and able to travel interstate, overseas and work outside of normal business hours and over the weekends. Estimated amount of travel is: 50% - 60%.
