Key Tasks:

• Ensure accurate receipt of items in accordance with established SOPs and protocols.   

• Execute daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations effectively.   

• Support orders fulfilment, picking, packing, and issuing goods for deliveries to the logistic team.   

• Coordinate with third party logistics (3PL) providers for daily inventory transfers and deliveries.   

• Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database accuracy.   

• Submits the daily inventory report to update the inventory status to sales team/ production team/ procurement team  

• Conduct monthly stock-take exercise, perform daily inventory data entry in SAP system / upload the daily transfer/receiving record.   

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.  

• Stuff, Unstuff, Restack, and label of products as needed.   

• Coordinate and liaise effectively with the inter-department related to all warehouse and logistic concerns.  

• Resolve inventory or warehouse operation issues and discrepancies promptly.  

• Operate the forklift and reach truck as needed, adhering to safety protocols.   

• Support special projects and ad hoc assignments as required by the supervisor  

Skills & Competencies:

• Working knowledge of MS Office application – Outlook, Excel, Word  

• Experience in SAP or any other WMS system 

• Able to work independently, responsible as a team player  

• Possess good communication skills both written and verbally  

Overall Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager, QA in daily running of the department, ensuring daily checks are in place and that necessary quality, safety and compliance are adhered to

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that daily quality and safety checks are in place, checklists completed and submitted to reporting officer for reference and follow-up
• Execute and monitor procedures related to daily production
• Monitor process flows and ensure its compliance to established parameters
• Evaluate the services of sub-contracted service, for example pest control, cleaning contractors, etc
• Plan and monitor shelf-life studies for current and new products
• Attend daily briefing with operation and action plan for improvement
• Assist with customer complaints or feedback and when microbiological limits have been deviated
• Conduct FSSC and ISO 22000, GMP and local food authorities’ requirements (SFA/MUIS/NEA) training for relevant staff
• Assist reporting officer in pest control routines
• Implement Workplace Safety and Health initiatives planned by QA & Compliance Manager
• Carry out other administrative and operational-related duties in and support the QA & Compliance Department
• Conduct risk assessment profiling for products, ingredients and product contact materials
• Any other duties assigned by reporting officer or Head of Department

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Nutrition and Dietetics
• Completed ISO, FSSC, HACCP and/or Risk Management course
• Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment will be an added advantage
• Experience in ISO, HACCP, Risk Management and GMP is an advantage
• Proactive, resourceful and adaptable
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Good communications, interpersonal and team interaction skills
• Good diplomacy (to liaise with external parties such as SFA customers, vendors and other government

Job Responsibilities:

• Setting up of workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Preparing ingredients for cooking, including tasks such as thawing and chopping.
• Ensure proper storage of both food and packaging materials.
• Conduct quality checks on ingredients to ensure freshness and adherence to standards.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Unpack, thaw, mince, cook, cool, and pack meat products following established procedures.
• Calibrate food processing machines, ensuring correct settings for each processing step.
• Inspect packed meat products for conformity issues, isolating or discarding non-conforming items.
• Ensure safe and proper handling, storage, and use of meats, sausages, cold cuts and raw materials.
• Adhere to FSSC, ISO 22000 and HACCP standards and requirements at all times.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as instructed by the Team Leader/Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Previous work experience in a similar position within the butchery/food manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in cold temperatures.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
