Core responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and administration of construction contracts.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with project teams to address contract-related issues and changes.
- Support Quantity Surveyors in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyse and evaluate project specifications to determine cost implications.
- Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities and cost breakdowns.
- Work closely with the procurement team to source materials and services at competitive prices.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the tendering process.
- Monitor project financials, including costs, budgets, and expenditures.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts for construction projects.
- Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors to assess and value variations in construction projects.
- Assist in the measurement and valuation of work done.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contractual documentation.
- Support in the resolution of contractual disputes and claims.
- Ensure that all contractual and quantity surveying activities align with industry standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in providing regular updates on contract status and financial performance.
Job requirements:
- Degree in QS/ Civil/Building
- 8 years working experience with at least 5 years in tendering
Or
- Diploma in QS/ Civil/Building
- 12 years working experience with at least 8 years in tendering
