We are looking for a passionate and driven Event Coordinator to manage and host our Factory Tour and Workshop Events. This role involves end-to-end coordination of public and corporate events, ensuring smooth execution while delivering an engaging and memorable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all public and corporate enquiries related to factory tours and workshop events
• Coordinate and liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and event execution
• Plan, manage and lead all aspects of the factory tour and workshop programs
• Work closely with Marketing to promote events and improve participation rates
• Host and facilitate factory tours and workshop sessions with confidence and professionalism
• Manage event calendar planning and creation of events on SISTIC
• Monitor event performance and continuously suggest improvements to enhance customer experience

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Food Science, Tourism, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience in event coordination, hospitality, tourism, or customer engagement is an advantage
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
• Comfortable interacting with the public, corporate clients, and diverse groups
• Passion for food experiences, workshops, or experiential marketing
• Willing to commit 6 days work week

Scope

• This role is responsible for full sets of accounts and needs to work closely with the rest of Finance team to ensure consistency and best practice is developed and maintained across the function, proactively driving the ongoing improvement of business practices and performance across Finance function.

• Prepare financial and management reports and related analysis and commentaries.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for period-end closing activities such as GL Journal entries, bank reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.

• Prepare monthly reporting package for group consolidation purpose.

• Prepare and perform analytical review on Balance Sheet and Income Statement.

• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivables functions for day-to-day operations and reporting needs.

• Responsible for timely and accurate invoicing for intercompany – Monthly reimbursement and disbursement and monthly intercompany reconciliation.

• Perform credit control role such as timely follow up with Sales team for payment status on outstanding and overdue invoices.

• Ensure statutory compliance with relevant government authority, such as tax compliance. (i.e: GST and corporate tax)

• Support the preparation of the yearly budget and perform financial analysis of actual results against budget/forecast.

• Attend monthly stock counts.

• Prepare audit schedules for year-end audit, liaise with internal and external auditors.

• Prepare and extract document and information for tax agent for yearly tax computation submission.

• Responsible for quarterly GST submission.

• Involve in office automation project as and when required.

• Ad hoc duties as assigned by Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Min Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalents

• At least 3 years of working experience in similar role

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferred

• Possess working knowledge of manufacturing, GST and corporate tax

• Competency in Financial Reporting Standards and other finance/statutory requirements

• Ability to work independently on own initiative under tight timelines

• Proactive with strong initiative, committed and meticulous

• Able to work under fast pace environment and perform OT when required

• Know how to prioritise and react according to the urgency of things

• Assess New Product Development and be responsible for successful scale up and first production
• Support New Product Introduction including new process and projects as required
• Responsible to provide accurate mixing instructions and create new working instructions for Production operators accordingly

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct daily on-site inspections, ensuring compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and operational procedures across production
• Supervise and conduct personal hygiene checks, product quality assessments, and sample retention protocols to ensure adherence to internal and external standards.
• Develop, implement, and oversee testing and sampling schedules, ensuring all critical tests are conducted in accordance with product specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse test results and recommend corrective actions for any deviations or non-conformities.
• Implementation and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000) Food Safety Management System (FSMS) for relevant operations.
• Oversee and updates of the Quality Management System and Standard of Procedure, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
• Work closely with relevant departments to ensure operational adherence to standards and address any discrepancies or audit findings.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper retention of all quality assurance records, documents, and files as per regulatory and company policies.
• Perform regular audits of quality documentation and lead the improvement of record-keeping practices.
• Develop, review, and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all areas of operations to ensure best practices in quality control and food safety.
• Conduct training, development and continuous improvement of food safety training materials, ensuring they are relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with company policies and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate quality risks, ensuring proactive measures are taken to prevent non-conformities and quality failures.
• Communicate quality-related issues and improvements to stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.
