To be involved in the planning and designing of civil and structural engineering works

To prepare the design and technical specifications for tenders; as well as tender documents for the bidding of civil and structural engineering projects

To supervise in the civil and structural works

To collaborate with peers in other disciplines in feasibility study and design, and ensure delivery of quality service for clients

3) Able to work independently under the guidance of senior / principle engineer

Negotiates with sellers to find the best sales price and may include bid prices and negotiation techniques, plus review of written documents

Conducts negotiations with other buyers to determine a sales price when more than one buyer is interested in a particular item

Acquires information concerning an item’s condition, type, rarity or value

Prepares data for financial records: invoices, purchase orders and other related documents

Orders new acquisitions or items from a catalog

Prepares purchase orders and shipping documents for the shipment of acquisition to other offices or locations: receives shipping information, such as insurance values, cost of packaging and necessary equipment for delivery, and verifies that all items ordered arrived in good condition

Performs financial analysis to determine savings, calculates quantity discounts and negotiates the best sales price when purchasing large quantities of goods

Prepares and maintains accounts receivables by receiving, verifying, and settling payments

Arranges payments through bank drafts or money orders to purchase items

Prepares documentation necessary for billing customers, such as invoices, order details and shipping documents

Assist in shipping by organizing shipments, including shipping materials and equipment for the shipment of items from the office to customers’ locations: assists packers and receivers with packaging and labeling of shipment materials; arranges for the transportation of shipment from the office to consignee’s location; makes recommendations regarding insurance coverage when sending valuable items; arranges insurance coverage when sending fragile or valuable items by air, surface or ocean shipment

Maintains inventory that includes verifying inventory levels, choosing new items, returning expired items or obsolete merchandise.

Coordinate construction work according to priorities and plans

Follow work schedule and monitor attendance of workers

Allocate general and daily responsibilities

Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with drawings, designs, specifications and all authorities’ regulations

Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

Supervise the use of machinery and equipment

Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget

Resolve problems when they arise

Minimum 5 years relevant experience with similar capacity.

Liaising with clients and consultants and reporting on site progress

Liaising with project team and updating on site progress

Supervising, managing workers and problem solving to meet deadline

Coordinating and planning site works to ensure smooth progress and on-time delivery

Material purchasing and monitoring build costs

Maintaining quality control procedures for audit check

Ensuring site safety

At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Manager specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Monitor, update foreign workers’ deployment including handling of recruitment, renewal of foreign workers work pass application and cancellation.

Maintain and update training records for all employees.

Arrange regulatory training eg. Safety Orientation Course (SOC) and related skill tests.

Administer insurance related issues covering reporting, submission and settlement of claims.

Assist to manage and maintain all administration-related works in the office.

Liaise and co-ordinate with site personnel on administration issues.

Update the Project List Records and assist to set-up project files for new project.

Assist on the demobilization for projects nearing completion.

Assist in performing various duties carried out by the Senior Admin Manager.

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery and pick-up instructions from the transport planner or supervisor to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Load and unload goods safely to maintain product integrity during handling
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses using various routes to meet delivery schedules
• Ensure timely delivery of products to designated destinations to maintain customer satisfaction
• Conduct quality and quantity checks of goods during collection and delivery to verify order accuracy
• Report any accidents or injuries immediately to the supervisor to maintain workplace safety
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid professional driver’s license for class 3 or 4 to operate delivery vehicles legally

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills to optimize delivery routes and schedules
• Maintain a good driving record with no traffic violations to ensure safe driving practices
• Familiarity with Singapore routes to navigate efficiently and reduce delivery times

To assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work;

· Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards;

· Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries;

· To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers;

· To work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule;

· Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings;

· To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers;

· Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship;

· Attend the daily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly;

· Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work.

Good knowledge of contract and QS procedures and pricing.

Experienced in procurement, budgeting, estimation, contract administration, measurement of quantities & variation orders

Compile photos, inspection forms and all relevant documents required for VOs attachment.

Strong interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills

Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Superior.
