Logistics Analyst (Contractor– Fixed Term)

About the role
We are looking fora Logistics Analyst (Contractor) responsible for preparing, consolidating, analysing, and reporting on distribution budgets, logistics KPIs, and freight market conditions, while executing freight‑related transactions in SAP.
This role supports freight‑related finance processes, collaborates with internal stakeholders to generate insights and drive improvements to global operating procedures, and contributes to continuous process optimisation.
Reporting to the Global Distribution and Logistics Manager, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities
Operations
- Maintain price lists and spreadsheets for freight
- Calculate and maintain the freight& duty conditions in SAP
- Receive and verify freight invoices/billings against shipments and agreed quotations
- Report and account for open freight accruals to Finance monthly
- Process purchase requests in SAP and follow up until payment is completed
- Liaise and coordinate with shipping associations/shipping lines/forwarders
Analysis, Reporting and Projects
- Prepare monthly dashboards and presentations including key performance indicator reports and freight accrual
- Prepare and consolidate annual sustainability and insurance reporting for all entities
- Consolidate, analyze and report on the monthly distribution cost forecasts from all entities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable reports that track progress towards plans
- Gather insights from stakeholders and contribute to improving operating procedures and processes for Freight, Warehouse & Logistics operations globally
- Drive or participate in global Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain projects, as the lead logistics liaison
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have
- Minimum 3 years of working experience; logistics background is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting deadlines and requirements.
- Flexible working style, comfortable collaborating across time zones, as this role regularly interacts with colleagues outside Asia Pacific.
- Hands‑on SAP experience is required; involvement in SAP projects is an advantage.
- Power BI or dashboard development experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel(including Macros and Power Query).
