Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, genuine attitude
- Take orders accurately and confidently explain menu items
- Make thoughtful recommendations to enhance customer experience
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Service Operations
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and correctly
- Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area at all times
- Assist in managing queue flow during peak hours
Cashiering & Orders
- Operate POS system accurately (order taking, payments, basic troubleshooting)
- Handle cash and cashless payments responsibly
- Coordinate with kitchen and barista team to ensure smooth order flow
Team Support
- Work closely with kitchen and barista team to ensure seamless service
- Assist in basic drink preparation or running items when needed
- Support opening and closing duties
Upkeep & Standards
- Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards consistently
- Ensure café ambience aligns with Romme’s brand (clean, warm, inviting)
- Restock service items (cutlery, napkins, condiments, etc.)
Who We’re Looking For
- Friendly, positive, and customer-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Responsible and detail-oriented
- Prior F&B experience is a plus, but not required
