Job summary

The procurement engineer is responsible for the procurement, allocation, and logistics function to ensure timely delivery to support various inter-departments, including production and sales. This position bridges technical specifications with strategic procurement, while also managing the logistics and flow of materials to support project and production needs.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier management:

• Review technical drawings/specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure supplier compliance.

• Consistent engagement with key suppliers to keep up to date with market trends.

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure best value proposition.

• Monitor supplier performance (e.g., quality, on-time delivery and costs).

• Resolve issues related to non-conformance, delivery delays, or supply disruptions.

Material planning:

• Allocate material across multiple production jobs/projects based on demand forecasts.

• Ensure optimal material availability by monitoring stock levels, lead times, and consumption forecasts.

• Collaborate with sales, planning and production teams to align material flow against schedules.

Logistics coordination:

• Coordinate material deliveries to ensure just-in-time availability for manufacturing or installation.

• Ensure documentation compliance (e.g., packing lists, certificates, HS codes, Incoterms).

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or related field from an established university.

• Fresh engineering graduates are welcome to apply.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and material specifications.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Excellent time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Detail-oriented and pro-active. Team-player with continuous improvement mindset.

• Experience with ERP systems, proficient with excel and other analytical tools will be an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle daily setting up of machines
• Operating of CNC Turning / Milling machines
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Must have the knowledge on measuring instruments and ball gauges
• Able to perform simple programming will be an added advantage
• Keep up with the housekeeping requirements at the workstation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years experience in machining either CNC turning or milling machines in oil & gas / aerospace industry.

Job Description

The Manufacturing Process Engineer reports to the Special Process Supervisor who manages the Heat Treatment, Cladding and Assembly departments as well as facilitating improvement projects and maintains QMS (Quality Management System) & HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) policies and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with Planning Department to schedule jobs for Heat Treatment, Assembly and Cladding operations and meeting required deadlines.
• Coordinate between test house, calibration and maintenance vendors
• Assist Special Process Supervisor in enforcing procedural compliance with QMS by conducting routine and daily checks on jobs
• Promote HSE awareness across the company and ensure compliance with established HSE policies and procedures
• Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, and reporting of HSE metrics
• Support the integration of HSE practices into daily operations
• Evaluate, qualify, and monitor vendors to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements
• Coordinate vendor audits, performance reviews, and development initiatives
• Manage vendor non-conformances, corrective actions, and improvement programs

Qualifications:

• Minimum Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Fresh graduates with relevant disciplines may also be considered
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and critical thinking, able to work in a team or independently
• Able to multi-task and priories critical tasks in a fast-paced environment

CNC PROGRAMMER

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be guided by the Senior Manufacturing Engineer to carry out your duties. Your primary duty would be to write CNC programmes through the review of drawings

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review customer drawings for any errors or clarification before start of jobs
• Prepare geometric layout of designs using Mastercam. Knowledge of FeatureCam is an added advantage
• Actively involved in improvement projects
• Write programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency. Back up the confirmed programs into server once FA is proven
• Analyze and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs and design fixtures for machining purposes
• Perform detailed investigations on any machining defects
• Prepare set up sheet, measuring sketch and tools list before releasing the programs for each new job and repeated jobs
• Translate instructions into a Computer Automated Manufacturing (CAM) program
• Monitor all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task
• Support vendors on technical issues raised on drawings and other technical aspects

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering
• Broad knowledge in machine tools, metal works and safety awareness
• Minimum 2 years in programming perferably in the Oil & Gas industry
• Well versed in milling and turning process
• Strong in computer programming skills, algebra, trigonometry and physics
• Good literacy & communication skills and have an eye for details
• Organized and able to work independently
• CADCAM, CNC Programming, Lean Manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform dimensional Inspection on raw and finish machine parts
• Perform hardness, in-process & receiving inspection
• Prepare the dimensional, hardness and receiving inspection reports as per customer requirements
• Ensure all measuring, monitoring and testing equipment are in working condition and within calibration period.
• Maintain records (Inspection Reports, Calibration Certificate, NCR log),
• Perform gauge setting
• Raise NCR for non-conformance products

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in dimension/hardness inspection
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments
• Able to interpret customer BOM, Quality Plan and drawing requirements
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Exposure to Oil and Gas industry will be an added advantage

Manufacturing Engineer (Machining)

This position reports to the Production Manager and is responsible to provide support to the machine shop and subcontract vendors on complex machining methods for both Premier Hytemp Singapore and Malaysia. Technical support may involve design tooling, fixtures, and machining methods for complex features and new product qualifications. The Manufacturing engineer is responsible to lead acquisition and implementation of latest technology (machines) to improve capability and efficiency. 

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of complex machine drawings for manufacturing
• Propose and implement tooling & fixtures for machining of complex features
• Support Manufacturing team on new product qualifications and ensure manufacturing is achieving most optimized and competitive hours
• He or she must have strong knowledge on CNC machining process with strong understanding and capability to design fixture or use on best tooling to achieve optimized and competitive machining capability
• Work with Procurement team to develop strategic sub-con machining supplier
• Source and develop new relevant and good machining vendors to company’s approved vendor list
• Provide technical guidance and ensure supplier passes first article approvals
• Involved in daily MRB (Material Review Board) meeting to provide technical input for jobs when non-conformance occurs
• Continuously seek and work on cost savings and new customer development projects
• Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects
   

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Exposure to machining of complex parts for oil & gas equipment is preferred
• Understanding of ANSI, ASME Standards and API Products requirements is an advantage
• Proficient in design and programming software like AutoCAD, Solidworks & MasterCam etc
• Strong communication and analytical skills, team player, energetic and willing to work hard
