Job Description

• Lead and manage the engineering team in the design and development of steel structural systems and components.

• Perform and review structural analysis and design of steel structures in accordance with Eurocode and relevant international standards.

• Utilize engineering software such as STAAD for structural analysis and CAD tools for preparation and review of engineering drawings.

• Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of structural calculations, design reports, and fabrication drawings.

• Coordinate closely with steel fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with fabrication requirements.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and draftsmen.

• Manage engineering schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation to meet project timelines.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment with project requirements.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, engineering standards, and company procedures.

• Support tendering and proposal preparation by providing technical inputs and preliminary engineering assessments.

Job Responsibilities:

(1) Perform clerical duties, such as filing and responding to emails

(2) Respond to inquiries through multiple channels, such as calls, and emails.

(3) Handle and process sales orders, PO and DO.

(4) Create and update sales orders, invoices, quotations, and other sales-related documents

(5) Coordinate, prepare, monitor and constantly follow-up on order status and delivery schedules with customers

(6) Maintain accurate and up to date documentation.

(7) Coordinate with human resources to handle department staff time attendance and work with accounting department to process invoices, payments matters relating to Design & Fabrication Dept.

(8) Handle transaction enquiries, resolve and report operational issues promptly

(9) Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Admin / Customer service / sales support / SAP experience will be an added advantage.

At least 2 years experience in administration

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

General administrative support

Documentation and filing management

Positive work attitude
