SENIORFINANCE MANAGER | INTERNATIONAL BEVERAGE & DISTRIBUTION GROUP

Our Client is a Singapore-headquartered, privately owned Beverage & Distribution Group with operations across Asia Pacific and Europe. As the business continues to expand, there is a need to strengthen its finance leadership team through the appointment of a Senior Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing finance operations across multiple local and international entities, while partnering with senior leadership to support the Group's next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of finance, accounting and reporting activities across multiple local and international entities
• Lead monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Manage cashflow, working capital and liquidity requirements to support both operational needs and business expansion plans
• Partner closely with senior management to provide commercial insights, financial analysis and decision support
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance frameworks and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners and outsourced service providers across various jurisdictions
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements and finance transformation initiatives to improve operational effectiveness
• Support inventory, procurement and supply chain-related finance activities within a trading and distribution environment
• Assist with strategic projects, business expansion initiatives and corporate development activities as required
• Lead, mentor and develop members of the finance team while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture

What We Are Looking For:

• Degree qualified in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, with professional accounting qualifications preferred
• At least 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, ideally gained within trading, distribution, consumer products, FMCG, retail, wholesale or related industries
• Strong grounding in financial reporting, management accounting, cashflow management and working capital optimisation
• Experience managing multiple entities and dealing with regional or international finance operations would be advantageous
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance financial discipline alongside business growth objectives
• Hands-on, adaptable and comfortable operating within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced business environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and external partners
• Experience with ERP platforms and finance systems would be advantageous

This role involves developing and promoting control standards and guidelines, supporting stakeholders in managing cyber risks across their lifecycle, and implementing meaningful risk metrics and reporting for senior leadership. The position also provides advisory support to both business and technology teams on control design, risk mitigation, and exception handling.

From a technology standpoint, the role oversees the organisation’s security infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvement. It includes evaluating and introducing new security tools, as well as working closely with internal teams to implement and integrate solutions effectively. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a resilient and well-architected security environment.

Operationally, the role leads security monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence efforts. It ensures continuous surveillance of systems, effective detection and analysis of threats, and coordinated response to incidents, including root cause analysis and improvement of response processes. Additionally, it manages third-party security operations by defining expectations, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance, while maintaining strong communication and continuous improvement practices.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or GIAC) are advantageous, alongside strong familiarity with established security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. The role requires a solid understanding of IT governance, project management methodologies, and applicable cybersecurity regulations, including local data protection and cybersecurity laws. Candidates should be well-versed in frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND, and possess practical expertise across a range of security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, IAM, PAM, SIEM, WAF, and PKI. Experience operating within regulated environments, particularly in highly controlled sectors, is considered a plus.

With access to external recruiters, the hire will be fully responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle while contributing to strategic talent acquisition initiatives.

The successful hire (~3–10 years’ experience) may be an incumbent HR Generalist covering talent acquisition, or a Talent Acquisition specialist keen to broaden into a more holistic HR role. A track record in local and/or regional hiring, particularly within Southeast Asia, will be advantageous. The ability to communicate effectively within a professional and multi-cultural environment will be key to success.

As this is a compact HR team, in addition recruitment, the hire can expect to develop professionally by contributing to broader HR functions within a lean and collaborative team.

As it is typical with International Organisations, this is a permanent employment structured as a 24 month term to start before being rebased on a permanent contract basis.
