Function: Market Development / Strategic Partnerships
Core Objective
Leverage the company’s extensive pharmaceutical and medical device resources to aggressively expand distribution channels, drive project localization, and achieve sustainable revenue growth across the Southeast Asian region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Execution:
Formulate and implement comprehensive CRO/CDMO market entry and expansion strategies for SEA markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.).
2. Channel Cultivation & Mapping:
Identify, recruit, and manage local distributors and partners. Implement data-driven resource mapping to visualize client profiles and regional network landscapes.
3. Full-Portfolio Expansion:
Conduct market access evaluations and lead commercial negotiations for Innovative Drugs, Generics, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Medical Devices.
4. End-to-End Deal Management:
Independently manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and technical consultation to contract closing. Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
5. Brand Presence:
Represent the company at high-profile industry forums and exhibitions (e.g., Singapore and Macau summits) to enhance brand visibility and influence.
6. Market Intelligence:
Monitor regional regulatory shifts, industry trends, and competitive dynamics to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a
related Life Sciences discipline.
2. 5+ years of proven BD experience in the CRO/CDMO or pharmaceutical sector, with a solid track record of successful deal closings in overseas markets.
3. Deep-rooted network of local channels/distributors in Southeast Asia. Must demonstrate the ability to visualize and leverage these resources effectively.
4. Strong "lone-wolf" capability to initiate work independently, complemented by professional PPT presentation, data analysis, and bilingual (English/Mandarin) negotiation skills.
5. Highly adaptable to the fast-paced, evolving environment of a startup. Proactive in tackling "0-to-1" market challenges with a collaborative spirit.
6. Preferred Skills (Plus): Familiarity with SEA regulatory frameworks (e.g., HSA, NPRA, BPOM). Prior experience living or working overseas.
