The Guest Services Agent is the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information. Understanding guests’ needs and requests and provides them with personalised solutions for hotel offerings and Singapore-specific activities and attractions. He/she will also be responsible for any luggage and parcel handling from a guests or an external soure.

MANAGES ALL GUEST SERVICES TASKS (CONCIERGE / POTERAGE / DOORMAN)

• Supervises and participates in the activities of the personnel in charge of handling and safe keeping of all

incoming, outgoing, and stored baggage

• Welcomes all guests, promotes inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities, and provides directions and

suggestions to the surrounding areas

• Ensures the smooth running of the hotel entrance and driveway operations by performing all tasks in

adherence with the code of ethics as accordance by Pullman Singapore Orchard

• Accommodates all guest needs and requests, anticipating needs, and creating memorable experiences

through personalized service

• Gather, summarize, and provide information to guest about the property and the surrounding area

amenities, including special events and activities

Knowledge and Experience

· Certificate realted to customer service or hospitality

· Minimum 1 year relevant experience with Concierge or Guest Services

· Excellent communication skills in English and ability to communicate in a second language

The Management Trainee will undergo a comprehensive training program to gain knowledge and skills in various aspects of management, in various sections with F&B department , Front Office Department and / or Housekeeping Department. He/she will be groomed for future supervisory/ managerial roles within the organization, based on their performance, potential, and aptitude demonstrated during the training period of 12 months.

- Participate in a structured training program designed to provide a broad understanding of the organization's operations, policies, procedures, and management practices. This may involve rotations across different departments or functions to gain exposure to various areas of the business.

Job Purpose

The Chef De Partie ensures smooth running services and a high standard of production by managing his/her section, works autonomously to produce dishes in compliance with cooking instructions. He/she supervises cooks and leading Cooks, ensuring all culinary standards as set by the hotel and regulated by local authorities are observed by the culinary team in their sections. He/she is responsible for the organization, coordination, and service for one area of the kitchen.

Operations

• Produces and presents the dishes for the section in line with the cooking instructions and processes defined

by the hotel and brand

• Ensure personal cleanliness and proper deportment of all team members

• Ensures that dishes are well presented, of a high standard and at the right temperature

• Prepare and ensures availability of mis en place as required

• Organises his/her work and timing to suit fluctuations in guest numbers, special events and particular guests

• Work closely with Executive Steward in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen areas

• Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Chef De Cuisine

Knowledge and Experience
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity

• Basic food hygiene certification required

• Basic reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language

The Snr Security Officer is able to handle safety and security issues in the day-to-day operations. He/she must protect company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues. He/she is also responsible for the security, safety and well-being of guests, employees and premises.

Primary Responsibilities

Manages the Control Room and daily routine assignments by Security Manager (SM)

· Visitors/Guests/Contractors Management. Verifies the ID of all visitors, guests and contractors of their visit and issue pass before entry

· Key Management – To record and issue departmental keys to the colleagues after verification. To acknowledge and record when the keys are returned

· To report and document all incidents in the Security Management Occurrence log

· Handles telephone enquiries in a professionally manner

· To record and take pictures of all Lost and Found Items surrenderred by colleagues or guests in the lost & found form and handover to Housekeeping

· To assist in evacuation

· To assist in managing the Electronic Parking System for the Carpark, including printing the Daily Revenue Report and Settlement Report daily.

Carries out static duties

· Front Office – To ensure a peaceful environment, greet guest coming / going out of the hotel, to report and take action where required

· Main Driveway: ensure orderly traffic flow, advice drivers of unauthorized parking to park at designated car park and to report and take action if there is disturbance.

· To conduct checks on unauthorised parking, advise driver to park at designated car parks, to report and take action if there is disturbance.

· Loading Bay: ensure only authorised vehicles are allowed to park in the loading bay.

− To ensure smooth traffic movements in the loading bay.

− To ensure the vehicles are parked in an assigned parking lot.

− To ensure no obstruction cause to other vehicles using the loading bay.

− To verify the identities of all contractors/workers using the loading bay.

· To respond to any emergencies within 3 minutes or less.

Patrols hotel grounds and building

· Hotel patrolling for crime prevention and report of any incidents, disputes disturbances or properties left unattended.

· Perimeter patrolling to ensure that the hotel`s exterior walls are not vandalised or damaged, ensure street lamps are in working condition.

· To respond to any emergencies within 3 minutes or less.

The Guest Services Executive is to perform various aspects of the front office operations and demonstrates high level of service throughout the entire guest journey. To ensure that service quality aligned to brand standards and LQA guidelines. He/she will ensure ALL loyalty Program benefits are observed and enrol new loyalty members as required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Welcomes all guests, promotes inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities, and provides directions and

suggestions to the hotel surrounding areas

• Assist guests with check-in and check out

• Confirms mode of payment; performs pre-authorization on credit card or collects required deposit for cash

payment

• Manage and assist guests with any enquiry that may arise

• Process all guests check out by confirming invoice balance, payment mode and feedback on stay

Knowledge and Experience

• Diploma from preferably hospitality or related field

• Minimum 1 years’ relevant experience or in customer service

• Excellent written and communication skills in English and ability to communicate in a second language
