Job Responsibilities:
Lead the site safety team and subcontractors to implement and maintain the company’s safety systems effectively
Collaborate with site operations staff and project managers to address all safety and health concerns promptly
Supervise safety practices and actively promote safe conduct among all personnel on site
Inspect workplaces regularly to identify and rectify unsafe conditions to prevent accidents
Identify and correct unsafe work practices to maintain compliance and safety standards
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to detect hazards and perform safety gap analyses for continuous improvement
Assist in reporting accidents and conducting thorough investigations to determine causes and preventive measures
Facilitate toolbox meetings to communicate safety information and updates to workers
Support safety planning and develop strategies to prevent incidents on site
Assist in preparing for and participating in ISO OHSAS 45001 and ISO 14001 audits to ensure compliance with standards
Liaise with government agencies, insurance companies, and auditors regarding safety matters and compliance
Perform any other duties required under the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act
Job Requirements:
MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building and construction projects
Experience working on HDB projects
Proficient communication skills to engage effectively across departments and functions
Strong knowledge of ISO OHSAS 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
